Portland fireworks are a lesson in class consciousness

https://www.reddit.com/r/Portland/s/HTbgk0Zd2Z

for some reason I can’t post as a link right now, so see above. Rich pricks paid 1000 dollars to attend a gated BLUES festival in a neighborhood favorite place to watch the fireworks. The even was a fundraiser for the fireworks budget, which had the bootlickers swarming the comments to defend their aristocratic overlords without a moment of critical thinking about how wealth works in this shitty oligarchical country.

happy Independence Day. A day when we celebrate throwing tyrannical government into the water and letting it wash away.

Is there a mod that lets you have a pet

I looked through the mod list and couldn‘t find anything, but it seems like a mod that lets players have a pet (other than the skeletons) would be really cool.

is there a mod that has that functionality and I missed it or is the necromancer mod the only pet mod?

Struggling with the bonk lifestyle

The title says it all really. I have a lot of hours clocked in outward but almost all of them have been with casters, daggers, halberds, 2H swords, bows, and 1H sword/maces. I want to try a physical damage bonk build and likely with speedster (maybe monk and hunter, but not I am open to other suggestions).

I am in the early game right now, I picked up speedster, I just finished getting my vampiric great mace, and… I feel really slow and weak compared to my other builds. Purple ghosts are wrecking me right now. I don’t have a range, damage, or speed advantage. I have a hunch 2H mace really needs to rely on brace to create openings which I don’t have yet.

How do you make it through the early game with 2H maces? or are they just a slower start than the other weapon types? What strategies and tactics do you use?

I was surprised to see Taylor Lorenz, a journalist who clearly has feminist inclinations but focuses on digital rights, tackling the misinformation in CNN’s 62 million men article.

This is definitely worth the watch not only for the insight into how some feminists are even pushing against the 62 million men article, but also because Taylor does a fantastic job digging into the origins of this article and how it is being leveraged as a cultural fulcrum to push dangerous state level surveillance.

I have followed Taylor for years now and I never would have expected her to run a takedown piece on any feminist talking point. Bravo to her for sticking to the truth and her principles, no doubt many of us would disagree with some of her politics but it is damn nice seeing someone from “the other side“ this dedicated to the truth.
