I’m planning to become a pro makeup artist mainly bridal.
What are your recommendations for the best makeup school in NYC?

I have over 18 years of banking experience with a renowned British bank in the Middle East, with diverse experience in sales and services, cash management, customer experience, and premium banking propositions. Despite my experience, I’m not even getting the opportunity to interview. I’m really trying to understand what might be holding me back. Could it be that my international banking experience isn’t translating well to the U.S. job market? Or do I actually need to get the SIE and Series 63 licenses just to land an interview?
I’d really appreciate any insights from recruiters, hiring managers, or anyone who has successfully transitioned into banking in the U.S.

Hi, I have two questions regarding my first substitute teaching assignment:

1. I’m currently on my first assignment, which is for 3 weeks. Will I receive my first paycheck after completing two weeks, according to the regular payroll schedule, or will I be paid after I finish the entire assignment?
2. My assignment in SubCentral shows the hours as 8:00 AM–2:20 PM. I understand that substitute teachers are required to work 6 hours and 50 minutes. Does this mean I should punch out at 2:50 PM to complete the required 6 hours and 50 minutes and avoid any deductions, or should I follow the hours listed in SubCentral?

I was wondering how many districts or boroughs I must add in my Sub central account to ensure that I’m assigned everyday. My main borough is the Bronx but I don’t mind adding districts in Queens.

I read on other sub groups not NYC that it starts to pick up after Labor Day. Is that the same for NYC or we can sub from day 1 of the school year?
