Not losing much weight
Hello everyone, I’m a guy in my early 20s. I’ve been going to the gym for a while without following any specific diet, although I always made sure to get enough protein. Now I finally have the time to follow a proper diet. I’ve been eating clean for about a month, but I’ve only lost 1 kg. Could it be that I’ve gained muscle and it’s masking the fat loss? The weights I’m lifting in the gym keep increasing, so I’m a bit confused. Is it possible that I’ve lost fat and water while simultaneously gaining muscle, resulting in only a small decrease in my overall body weight? Or is there another explanation?
