Until recently, I didn't pay attention to the amazing diversity of trees around my area. I'm glad I finally started appreciating their uniqueness.

It has been a beautiful summer. I'm eager for fall and all of its treasures.

Musinger Gardens are located in Saint Cloud, MN. What a wonderful place to declutter your mind and appreciate the world around you.

My favorite part of any round is the scenery.

So many bright, crisp colors in this photo. It certainly is a grand old flag.

We recently took a ride along the river and out onto Lake Michigan.

This was taken from the patio in our backyard.

We drove into this storm on our way from Wisconsin to Minnesota. We had taken the back roads to avoid the boredom and traffic of I-94. We got more adventure than we bargained for....

Our sweet girl, Nala. She was just the most adorable puppy and has grown into one giant heart wrapped in fur. ❤️

I have always been entranced with the look of fire escapes. I feel that they are not only a time capsule of American cityscapes, but classic works of art that have served as the setting for numerous famous movie scenes.

I was on a walk when I took this photo. I feel it captures so many of the things I appreciate about summer in the Midwest.
