bloomingdales sale calendar and when to shop there for the best deals

I want to pick up a few quality pieces from Bloomingdale’s, but I’m not paying full price on principle.

I know they do Friends & Family sales, but I’m not sure when those usually happen or how good the discounts actually are. Is the outlet site worth checking, or is it mostly leftover inventory that’s not comparable to mainline?

Also curious how their loyalty program compares to Nordstrom or Saks in practice. Better rewards? Better alterations/perks? Easier returns?

Basically trying to figure out the most strategic way to shop there because I like the brands they carry, but I’d rather wait and buy smart if the sales are genuinely worth it. Patience isn't a problem.

Is the physical feeling of being full actually the main reason GLP-1s work, or is it mostly a mental shift?

I keep reading how these shots make you forget food exists or completely wipe out your appetite. That has not been the case for me at all since starting Semaglutide. I still get hungry and my appetite is definitely still around.

The main difference is the mental obsession is just gone. I do not feel that weird panic or urgency when it is time to eat anymore. My brain is not constantly spiraling over what my next meal is going to be. For me, getting rid of that constant background anxiety around eating is a much bigger deal than just forcing myself to eat smaller portions.

No more nail biting

I realized I stopped biting my nails recently after reading about a user on here’s experience with nailbiting and how they stopped after taking a GLP-1, so I've been reading about GLP-1s and compulsive behaviors and there's just some really interesting research on how they affect the brain's reward pathways beyond just food . The same mechanism that quiets food noise might quiet other repetitive urges too.
