Qs for MFM appt with healthy di-di pregnancy
So far everyone is doing well, switching to an MFM at 22 weeks just because they're twins. No concerns were brought up at the anatomy scan, cervix is nice & long and placentas are not approaching the cervix. I'm gaining weight appropriately, blood pressure is nice and low, been on aspirin preventatively since 12 weeks. I am hypermobile & have a heart-shaped uterus.
Questions I have so far:
- Whether my uterus shape is anticipated to cause any issues (potential for IUGR)
- Pros & cons of planned c-section considering position, uterus shape, etc.
- What the procedure is for planned c-sections with her
- Anything she noted on the anatomy scan
- Their growth percentiles
Theory: Lupin was an exterminator before coming to Hogwarts
- His DADA lessons focus mainly on magical creatures
- He personally owns one of the tanks he uses to keep creatures in the classroom (he takes it with him when he leaves)
- He knows where in the castle & grounds to find a variety of creatures
- Exterminator can be a contracting job & he could simply not take jobs at certain times of month without anyone noticing
ETA: For the people who seem to think I am claiming he had steady work and was rich or something: No, I'm just saying that at sometime in his life he did this for some amount of money
Where is safest to sit in the car with a massive belly??
I know airbags protect mums more than babies, and obviously I'm not going to turn the airbag off, but is there a safer spot to sit where I'm protected and the babies are protected from the airbag?
I already sit as far back as possible in the passenger's seat.
Please don't recommend unsafe after-market products like seatbelt adapters.
Book for the basics?
Is there a book I can read that covers the basic how tos of EC?
Baby movement is CRAZY!! Please share funny analogies 😄
I'm a FTM, 19 weeks with di-di girls, and one is on each side of my belly button. Their movements are still quite gentle and not annoying yet :P
Every time I roll over at night it feels like a bunch of bookshelves toppling over in there.
Like the last 2 beers in a cooler rolling around.
I picked up a couple of cots from a daycare going out of business, since they'll make great camp cots for our twins.
Just don't remember from daycare what age they typically switch from cribs to cots?
Thanks!
