Devotional art for Pasiphae, Circe, and Medea

Devotional art for Pasiphae, Circe, and Medea

They’re ordered in the art the same way they are in the title even though as a familial trio I consider from my UPG that Circe in the middle mostly runs the show.

If anyone’s curious, I worship Circe and Pasiphae in a mostly ouranic manner since they’re daughters of a titan and nymph and are divine in that right. Medea being their niece I worship as a hero, so it’s cthonic for my work with her. Even though they’re three separate beings, they always come to me as a sort of council.

Who are the moral black sheep of the angels?

When explaining good versus evil (more accurately generalized as order versus chaos IMO) I hear many occultists say that both angels and demons can’t be categorized as a whole because the individuals have their own specifics while the larger groups may skew one way or the other on average.

In all honesty I know more about demonolatry and I’m just curious who the angels are whose moralities the human lens would consider outliers to their brethren.

Suggestion about scandalous women

Basically what the title says. I would be so grateful for recommendations on classic books with either lady protagonists or that feature women heavily that you pick up and are reminded that us humans have always been driven by desire on some level and have gone through scandalous situations.

I recently read and appreciated Venus in Furs if that helps, as well as a Spy in the House of Love, though that book setting is more modern than I’m currently looking for. Thanks for the suggestions!

P.S. can any Madame Bovary enjoyers tell me if that novel fits within this category? I picked it up when a Professor was giving out books from his collection to my class at the end of a semester, as was his tradition, and he chose MB for me. Such a sweet and above and beyond guy, though his personal taste is a tad kitchen sink so I’m skeptical. I mostly just want reviews since I know I’ll be reading it out of appreciation for him anyway and y’all’s responses will simply influence it’s priority on my reading list lol.

Edit: y’all truly came through for me and I just wanna give a little update that I think I’m gonna start these recommendations with Dangerous Liaisons and Gone With The Wind! I’m keeping a goodreads list for every suggestion I’ve received and will continue to do so. Thanks!!!!

Cianna, my attempt at a sun elf

She really doesn’t have the time for this world saving stuff and would rather be reading cheap romance novels on a chaise lounge back in Evereska.

Probably gonna romance Halsin, a sarcastic witch and romantic half bear arch-druid sounds like a cheap romance novel already!

Definitely regrets attending an enchanter’s conference in Baldur’s Gate the same day a tentacle ship came crashing through. Also regrets getting snatched up before finishing her Baldur’s Grape.

Origins of Lucifer as an entity

Hey y’all, so I went through some heavy mental health stuff in 2023 including breaks with reality and it completely snuffed my relationship with Lucifer due to my religious trauma boiling back up for the first time since childhood.

I always looked to him in a sort of quasi-abrahamic view in the sense that I saw him as an ethereal and infinitely wise light-bringer with vague pagan origins (that I’d never fully researched) who was pulled into the story of the fall because their God needed an adversary and Lucifer emphasizes questioning authority.

I really want to get back into my practitioner relationship with him, and I’ve gotten to the point that I’m communicating again with a lower vibrational personal spirit that I met in 2021, but part of me is still in a chokehold from my psychosis and how badly my own demonic leaning spirituality scared me.

Basically what I’m wondering since I never looked into it too heavily before is if Lucifer is directly tied to any non-abrahamic deities, because if so, I think approaching him for the first time in years through that aspect would help me get over my fears and religious trauma.

Digital art of personal spirit

Got done making this and felt like sharing. Personal spirits are some of my favorite because of how wildly differently demonic ones can appear from one another.
