Wii No Display w/ New Bluetooth Chip
I have been searching for people with similar issues as mine, and cannot seem to come across a clear answer to my issue. My Wii does not display an image, but connects to the TV, Wii remotes don't sync, and it takes like 20 seconds to power off the console when holding the power button.
From research, all these signs pointed to a failed Bluetooth chip, so I replaced it and still experience the same issues. I know that the Bluetooth chip itself isn't faulty, as I have tried 4 different ones. I've seen posts saying that replacing the WiFi chip may be the next step to salvage it. I'm scared to do this since the Wii remotes still don't connect. I don't know how the system works, but I would assume that with a new Bluetooth chip, the remotes should connect even without a display.
Should I try to replace the WiFi module, or is my console cooked?
