Mom transitions coaching

Maybe I'm getting targeted left and right but has anyone had any experience with some of these mom coaches on Instagram. I have seen a few, examples:

Meant for more

We are more than moms

Nicole burke

I'm sure that there are others!

I'm sure that there are others but just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience, good or bad, with these coaches. I have tried therapy and that doesn't seem to be working ...

Applying SCM elsewhere

Hi everyone, I have spent 12 years in supply chain. Mostly working in bio tech manufacturing. Of the 12 years, I had a focus on spare parts and field supply/inventory management. Then I went to a big 4 consulting company to consult companies on Supply Chain. I swear, everyone is just trying to cut headcount and reduce costs. This is leading me to try and see if I go work by myself but I have a hard time seeing how my skills can be used entrepreneurially. I could offer consulting but I think scoping out projects would be a nightmare. What other ideas do you have?

Going back to work

There's plenty of support for new moms broadly, and separately for women leaving corporate to stay home. But I haven't found much for the other side: moms 1+ years in who are now navigating going back to work, downshifting, or building something of their own — and want peer support from someone who's actually walked that specific path, not just a general mom friend.

Curious:

  • Have you looked for this and come up empty?
  • Would peer mentorship (matched with someone a bit further along) feel more valuable than a general group chat?
  • What would make you actually trust and join something like this?

TIA

Moms - Is there a gap in support for women navigating the return-to-work/reinvention identity shift?

Hey all — doing some early-stage research and would love this community's honest take. I have a 16 month old and went back after mat leave and then decided I needed more time. Took 6 months off then going back part time. I feel like Ive learned so much and hoping to pass along some of my lessons learned.

I've noticed a lot of support exists for new moms broadly (postpartum groups, general "mom life" communities), and separately, support for women leaving corporate to stay home. But I haven't found much specifically for the other side: moms who are 1+ years in and are now navigating going back to work, downshifting, or building something of their own, and are looking for peer support from other moms who've actually walked that specific path, not just a general "mom friend."

A few questions if you have 2 minutes:

  • Have you ever looked for this kind of support and come up empty?
  • If something like this existed, would peer mentorship (paired with someone a bit further along) feel more valuable to you than a general group chat or forum?
  • What would actually make you trust and want to join something like this?

TIA

Part Time Schedule

Hi Moms, I am going back to work at the beginning of next year and going back part time. I am going back 30 hours/week but I am trying to figure out if doing a daily set timeframe (7-11am) is better vs having set full days (8-5). I work from home and i will have a 20 month old when i go back. She sleeps consistently from 12-2:30 and my fear is putting her into a full day day care would risk naps.

Help me decide please!

Social Media Marketing

Hi - I have a very small business that is a pet product. I absolutely hate social media but unfortunately I feel like that is one of the only was to sell products these days. Anyone a social media manager wanting to take on a small client? Budget is $150/month. Also happy to arrange a deal where you make a portion of sales.

Hi all, I have lived in Arvada for 7 years and wondering if there are any plans to connect some of the trail systems. My house is right next to the interurban trail system that runs along 51st from Independence to Costco (essentially wads). But then there is the Ralston and Clear Creek (i know that this is technically Wheat Ridge). To get from the interurban trail to the Ralston Trial, you have to ride along the street or ride on the terrible sidewalks that are so thin or the bike line that is full of cars.

To go from our trail to the clear creek trail, we have to brave the I70 and Kipling underpass or go down Garrison in the bike lane which is also full of cars.

All of the trails run West / East and no connection in between except for the connection at I-76. Do you know if there is any plan to connect these trails or make more trails like these? Is there a forum online where we can request this?
