I love my introject friends!
My characters are real people now and I love them.
This is an update on this post I made before.
Once upon a time, I started writing an a fanfic of a movie, in which I made the protagonist of the movie into a system host - and 4 headmate OCs for that character.
Despite the fact I am a singlet, I am alone in my brain, a lot of people really liked my fanfic and thought it was good! It became a really important project to me. And I ended up meeting some really cool friends over it. Among them, a system became one of my best friends.
Turns out, this fanfic mattered a lot to that system too. Over the course of the past two weeks, they introjected all of the fanfic's system characters. Now that they're here, they can read their own fanfic for themselves.
...they told me it was good... got me in my emotions for realsies...
How incredible isn't that? To be friends with my own characters, for my own characters to say they like my story. And to be friends with my friends, too!
Best part is that one of my headmate ocs in the fic is a self-insert. So now no one knows now whether she's a fictive or a factive. She likes the term "fucktive".
You can see the whole saga here, though it probably won't make as much sense to someone not in the fandom.
