What will the scale say???

Ive been on the pill since April 24. 1.5 mg.

From April 24 to May 18 I lost about 6 lbs.

On May 19, I started the 4 mg. Then went out of town on May 20 and have not been in a place with a scale since!!!

I'm logging all food intake and staying below 1500 calories. I'm really trying hard on the protein but often only get up to 50 g per day.

I see a bit of difference when I look in the mirror. However, my bra does not feel much looser in the band.

It's driving me crazy....... How much weight will I have lost?!?!? I can't wait to see.

Dealing with the challenges of a partner who doesn't do finances

My spouse and I both retired at 50. Throughout our marriage, I've been the primary breadwinner, but I've also been the one who managed our finances, tracked spending, planned for retirement, and generally knew what things cost.

Now that we're retired, I'm realizing my spouse doesn't seem nearly as aware of the cost of everyday purchases, travel, or how our spending affects the long-term plan. It's not that they're irresponsible—they just never had to think about it the way I did.

I'm curious whether anyone else has experienced this. It doesn't have to be a husband/wife thing—I'd love to hear from men or women whose partner isn't as engaged with the financial side of retirement.

How have you handled it? Did your partner become more involved over time? Did you change how you talked about money or set spending guidelines?

Driving from Stewart to Jasper National Park. What to see on the way?

I'll be driving on July 4th from Stewart to Jasper National Park and I've got three nights to do it.

Where's a beautiful place that I could stay in between that offers great kayaking beautiful views and maybe even a boat rental?

Update on skipping some days

I'm out of the country, waiting on a prescription to be sent to me. It won't arrive before I'm out of the 4 mg pills. So I have not taken them the last 2 days and the food aversion remained. Just wanted to update.

Getting the pill while traveling internationally?

I frequently travel internationally for up to 6 weeks at a time. I use goodRX to pay for it at Walgreens - $149. However, they will only refill a 30 day supply?

Anyone running into an issue like this, and have a suggested work around?

These pills are magic!
