Ughhh i need to vent idk what im doing with my lifeeee

I’m grappling with an existential internal conflict, questioning my life’s purpose. For context, I completed a bachelor’s degree in social justice with an 86% average. I worked in non-profit roles for three years and have been unemployed and studying for the LSAT for the past five months. My first LSAT is scheduled for November. As the time draws near, I’m having second thoughts about pursuing law school and wondering if it’s truly worth it for me.

I’ve begun exploring social work master’s programs, realizing that social work might offer greater stability and flexibility compared to the legal field. Also likely a better work life balance. It aligns better with my interests and passions. The types of law I’m considering are likely non-profit, immigration, employment, or social justice advocacy. However, the prospect of a three-year program + articling and the need to advocate for myself to secure a job stresses me out . I’m particularly concerned about the uncertain landscape of the legal field by the time I graduate.

Maybe social work might not be as lucrative but at same time idk how lucrative my law degree would even be. Would i have to grapple with my own morality? Would I be making enough to really make my degree worth while? Will my job search be smooth!!! Idk!!! Am i just stressing myself out before taking this exam that i’ve spent an outrageous amount of money and time trying to prep for!??!

so many questions so many doubts. if anyone is a lawyer in any of the fields i’m interested in or adjacent in canada (particularly BC) and has any insight please share it with the class

Looking for advice!

I’m considering getting a MSW but for the past 5 months i’ve been preparing for the LSAT convincing myself that I want to pursue Law. For background, my bachelors is in social justice and I have non profit experience working with immigrants one on one in their job search. I love the one on one aspect of this job and helping clients, but i’ve been laid off twice now and i’m tired of job hunting and finding contract roles after contract roles.

I want stability and an education that guarantees a pathway and opportunities that I wouldn’t otherwise be able to get. I live in BC and would probably prefer to go to school here and work here. Potentially do travel social work but I don’t even know if that’s a real option. I’m just worried i’m going to do a masters and end up in the same place I am now, hunting for jobs that pay around 54k that are 1-2 year contracts and unstable.

I’m also curious about work life balance, a big reason why i’m doubtful of law field is the stories of how there’s a lack of separation. I’m ideally looking for a job that pays around 90k a year and keeps me busy while working but i can log off at the end of the day and check out mentally.

Is this a likely scenario after a MSW and is there advice on which schools are recommended?

anyone know if this is a bug bite? I never remember scraping my leg on anything but i have these small scratches that are incredibly itchy and sting constantly for past two days. It’s also nothing to do with my shoes or socks as i was wearing flipflops

Looking for former nail techs from Bling Up Nail Studio (Henderson Place)

This is a long shot, but I used to go to a nail salon in Henderson Place called Bling Up Nail Studio, and I absolutely loved it. The owner did my nails and there was one other girl there, and they were both fantastic.

The last time I went to get them done, I found out there's a new owner and a new name.I tried it out and sadly I did not receive the same quality of results I got in the past.

If anyone knows another Korean nail salon, or maybe if you know the names of any of the past nail techs that worked at Bling Up, please send me a message.
