I love this movie. John Goodman’s talent is so impressive. He actually played the piano and sang in those scenes, which makes them even better.
This was one of the first DVDs I ever bought, and I still have that same copy today. There’s just something about this movie that I’ve always enjoyed. Friends thought I was weird for having this on DVD, but I don’t regret it and I’m not ashamed. It’s funny, lighthearted, and John Goodman is great from start to finish. I wish it was streaming somewhere because setting up my DVD player is a pain, but every few years I end up pulling it out and watching it again. It always leaves me smiling.
Not every movie needs to be a masterpiece to be memorable, and I’ve already had my 15yr old son watch it to pass on the fun.
Anyone else a fan??
I’ve used the it about a dozen times, to give to valet, tire rotation, car inspections, etc. Every single time, they can’t get in the car, or they do and can’t get it to start, and cause the alarm to go off. I show them where to put it, and it still takes 10+ tries to get it in the right spot.
I’ve had a Tesla for 7 years and the keycard works flawlessly, never once has the alarm gone off or someone been unable to drive.
At this point I’ll just be using the fob for these situations wherever possible, it’s just very annoying.
Has anyone had consistent success with the keycard?
