QC on VSF v2 Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36mm

Hi! This is my first time buying and first post. Not sure exactly what to look for beyond the two newbie guides. Let me know if there's anything glaringly wrong please!

  1. Album Links:
    1. https://a202512172356311672002881.edepot.me/weshop/goods/_dg3qfSLHhi777Jx0IFOnzgO9XyA6_5DC9m_7AfQ/_d9DqfUrMAh0SX_NSL4F0EsZ07JCzN92irf5vPZA
    2. https://a202512172356311672002881.edepot.me/weshop/goods/_dg3qfSLHhi777Jx0IFOnzgO9XyA6_5DC9m_7AfQ/_dk6qfY4Bq_PE53VqWpA8msyuzJ0ekD5VK7b1bpA
  2. Dealer name: Hont
  3. Factory name: VSF
  4. Model name (& version number): Oyster Perpetual
  5. Price Paid: 468
  6. Index alignment: Generally Looks good. The 11 marker does not seem to fit into the slot nicely. It is rotated towards the right and looks like it is dancing around
  7. Dial Printing:
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks fairly centered. date is well within the date window and the misalignment is too slight to be seen on wrist at actual size
  9. Hand Alignment:
  10. Bezel: no issues I can see
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): SEL looks great on top, and bottom appears a little gap, but not unacceptable.
  12. Timegrapher numbers: Everything appears to be printed well. I don’t see any bleeding.
  13. Anything else you notice: nothing glaring to me.

How are you all burning so many tokens on Fable?

I've been running fable at ultracode on 20x account for nearly 24 hours. Probably around 14 hours of work. I've only used 50% of my weekly. I haven't even been able to reach my max 5 hour usage.

How is everyone burning thru all their usage so fast?

▲ 1 r/4kTV

I'm torn between the different tvs. I'd mostly be watching movies, I have an apple tv 4k, and a plex server. I occassionally host friends for watching football games and f1 races. We are planning on getting a 80"+ TV.

Was going to get an OLED, but I guess they don't make them in this size? Also, it's in a very bright room with direct sunlight so I'm going Mini LED

Sony seems like the best choice. But which one? I'm leaning towards the Sony Bravia 9 85"

TCL and Samsung / LG pop up over and over. So open to that as well.

Always wanted a pair of Iron Rangers or 1000 Mile boots.

With post-COVID changes and tariffs, I’m curious which of these still delivers on quality and value today.

While digging through more recent threads, I also came across Thursday Boots, so I’m adding them into the mix to see if there’s a newer high-quality alternative.

Leaning toward the Wolverine 1000 Mile, but open to being convinced otherwise.

Edit: adding the Grant Stone Diesel. They look great

Red Wing Iron Ranger

Wolverine 1000 Mile Classic

Thursday Heritag Captain Boot

Grant Stone Diesel

Edit2: Asked AI, and it gave me this list.... I'm going to do a bit more research on these, but open to anyone's thoughts!

  1. Viberg
  2. Alden
  3. John Lofgren
  4. Oak Street Bootmakers
  5. Parkhurst
  6. White’s / Nicks (different category: work-focused)
  7. Helm
  8. Meermin

Edit3: my current strategy

  1. Going with Iron Rangers
  2. Go in person to a store to get sized properly
  3. Order from Sierra

I'll probably buy the Grant Stone Diesel after I break these in. They look so high quality.

Edit 4: apparently grant Stone had seconds as well. Need a new strategy.
