15% Azelaic Acid Gel

Hi everyone, I just recently turned 30, and had been dealing with textured skin and breakouts so my derm prescribed me Tret, but it was just too harsh for my dry sensitive skin. Even with the sandwich method. It caused me to purge really bad and left me with worse skin than I started with. I decided to stop so she now wants me to take doxycycline for 2 months along with using a 15% prescription AA. What can I expect with with AA? She did mention I would also purge with it, but should I expect it to be as bad or worse as the Tret? What type of cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen pairs best with it?

Anyone know where I can get a steno machine?

Hi! Does anyone know if there are any places out here that sells used or refurbished steno machines? Or if anyone is selling or giving one away? Need one for school.

What are you working towards buying right now?

Hi guys! Just interested to know what everyone is working towards using their points for? For me, I’m working to get a $50 Sephora gift card as a part of my daughter’s high school graduation gift! She’s been begging for a fragrance from there, but I can’t afford to pay full price for it because it’s quite expensive but she’s so deserving of it so mama is trying and I’m almost there! 💗

Should I be smelling something?

I recently saw a post on a different social media platform where someone said if you’re not smelling burning hair, it’s not working. How true is this? I just had my 2nd session, did not smell burning hair during either session but had great results after my first session, so much so that I only had a small amount of hair to shave before my 2nd session. But during my 2nd session I hardly felt anything during or after and my hair is already growing back like crazy. So I’m just curious to know…I paid for a 6 session package on Groupon and don’t want to waste my time or money.

Dark spots/PIH

I’m Fitzpatrick 5, with dark coarse hair. I have a bunch of dark spots that I developed from ingrown hairs due to years of waxing. Once I stopped waxing, I stopped getting ingrowns, but now I’m left with a mess. I had my 2nd LHR session today, I saw good reduction after the first session, and I’m not too concerned with being entirely hairless. But I was wondering has anyone had any success with LHR improving their dark spots/pih? And when should I start seeing a difference?
