i’m in y11- and for circumstances (switching to homeschool) i have to switch yo Edexel science

i do higher triple science and i got all 6s for each science in my mocks, with physics & biology close to a 7. The main reason i have to switch exam boards is because i won’t be able to complete all my required practicals (done most at school but not all) and so i’ll get an IGCSE in edexel instead.

what do i need to know? how different is it? what revision resources are there? I loved freesciencelessons- is most of the content the same?? is it just the papers? idk!! pls help🩷🙏

from most of what i’ve seen on this subreddit it’s like uh, about younger children?so i’m not sure if anyone can help but yeah

but i’m Y10 and wondering wether i should start homeschooling for year 11. I miss a lot of school anyway (1-2 days per week) and my mum has given the possibility i could do homeschooling since i’ve completed most of my gcse course, and i work a lot better alone. We can afford tutors for subjects aswell, especially if i like the subject!!

I take: separate sciences, Maths, L2FM, english, Spanish, art , media studies and geography.

Homeschooling parents- as someone myself who dosen’t meet many friends outside of school, how do you or your kid deal with possible isolation?

another fear i have is i’ll fall behind. i’m predicted 6s to 8s in all subjects and do well in assessments anf classwork, but i’m just terrified homeschooling will make me fall behind!! my mother would be with me at home and i’d have a tutor (at least for maths, i want that grade 9 esp in further maths!!)

if you need any context to help me i am autistic and have mental health and self harm struggles with many depressive episodes!!
