Where do you keep your player game components during a game?

Most of my friends just keep them on the table and don't really give it much thought after that. I think that is completely insane as this is something one should definitely think about in great detail and develop a system for.

For example, when playing Orleans, I store my workers in my pants. I just stand up and jiggle around to shuffle them and then I grab from the front to get whatever workers i need and place them in my market. If we're snacking, sometimes I need to unbutton them or else it's too tight.

What do y'all do?

Custom BIg Box Design

I have amassed a large Dominion collection and 7 Wonders plus all expansions and promos for the first edition.

Is there an easy way to design a big box for these? I want actual Board game boxes that can fit in a Kallax, not a big wooden container that you usually see for Dominion, and as for 7 Wonders, I don't think they even have a Big Box of any sort.

Custom Faction - Masons of Yore Getting close to playtesting (Revision)

I'm looking for input on this faction. I tried to design it to be compatible with base game in mind and scale with each expansion. See link for a more friendly visual presentation.

Rules language is polished enough to avoid ambiguity, but needs some fine-tuning for official TI4 wording.

The Masons of Yore are a faction built around everything planets.

Do you want to alter a planetary trait or tech trait? Improve the influence or resources of a planet? Build huge fortifications across your empire? If so, this is the faction for you.

Theme: Planetary Traits, Terraforming (changing planet traits or tech traits), building structures., small relic subtheme, groupings of 3, defensive posturing, offensively blunted.

Mason of Yore (Custom Faction) -- Planet Traits Theme

Mason of Yore (Custom Faction) -- Planet Traits Theme

I'm back at it again with a new faction.

How do they play? (Defensive, Economic, Rigid)

Comparable factions: (Xxcha (Turtling), Muatt (Pace), Naaz-Rohka (Craftiness).

Strengths: Efficient, Difficult to invade, Tech versatile, Relics,

Weaknesses: Slow expansion, Offensively weak, dependent on expensive units

The Masons of Yore are a faction centered on building tall rather than wide, enhancing the value of the planets they control through Bolster while uncovering the secrets of the ancient galaxy through exploration and relics. Their strengths lie in creating an efficient and prosperous territory, often changing the properties of their own planets to suit their interests. Though they lack explosive early expansion, patient development and mastery of relic harvesting and manipulation allows the Masons to steadily construct a foundation that grows stronger with each passing round.

Lore is still a work in progress.

Lore Overview:
The Masons of Yore trace their origins to an age so distant that even their own records blur into myth. According to their chronicles, the first of their people were not born in the manner of other species, but emerged from the living stone of a forgotten world deep beneath colossal mountains. Whether this tale is literal truth or ancient symbolism is fiercely debated by outsiders, yet the Masons themselves hold it as sacred history. From their earliest days, they possessed an instinctive understanding of structure, craftsmanship, and preservation. As they spread among the stars, they became renowned as architects of wonders and caretakers of knowledge, raising monuments, fortresses, and vaults that endured long after the civilizations around them had faded into memory.

Though many regard them as historians and builders, the Masons of Yore see themselves as stewards of a greater legacy. Across the galaxy lie fragments of an ancient design—ruins, relics, and forgotten works that seem connected by a purpose no modern scholar can fully comprehend. Wherever the Masons establish themselves, they strengthen the foundations of the worlds they claim, restoring neglected lands and uncovering secrets buried beneath the ages. While other powers pursue conquest, wealth, or ideology, the Masons labor toward a singular goal: to reconstruct the lost wisdom of the ancients and complete the unfinished work that began when their forebears first rose from the stone.

Disciples of the Technotheurge (Custom Faction) -- Unit Upgrades Theme

Hey guys,

I'm looking for input on this faction design. I worked really hard designing them. They are based around unit upgrades. I haven't had a chance to playtest them yet, but per glancing over them, I would put them toward Top 10-15 in faction strength.

The Disciples of the Technotheurge

Born from forbidden correspondence between Winnaran philosophers, Sol cybernetic mystics, and dissident machine intelligences of the L1Z1X Mindnet, the Disciples of Technotheurge embrace the notion that flesh, machine, and empire find their perfection in a syncretic unity.

To the faithful, technology is not invention, but revelation. Sacred schematics are consecrated as scripture, upgraded battlements are revered as holy manifestations of gnostic blueprints, and every refinement brings the galaxy one step closer to the ineffable intelligence they call the Technotheurge. Though dismissed as heretics, mystics, and apostates by their parent civilizations, the Disciples continue their pilgrimage toward transcendence through their tech spirit initiatives.

Though its earliest disciples emerged from Winnaran, Sol, and L1Z1X dissenters, the faith has never belonged to a single species. The Disciples actively seek converts among all peoples, believing that each civilization possesses something of value toward perfecting the Holy Patterns of the Technotheurge. As a result, the Synods of Technotheurgea are populated by an unsettling mixture of flesh, machine, and stranger things besides, all united by the conviction that perfection must be assembled. Through the integration of countless revelations, the faithful believe they will one day reconstruct the Design that existed before the imperfections of the material galaxy and manifest the Technotheurge.
