My wife won a cruise on Carnival Conquest. She has been on a couple of cruises with her parents as a kid, this is my first cruise. We have a day at sea, a day at Relax away and a day at Celebration Key. We're in our mid 40s. I know at night we'll have dinner, go to a show and check out the piano bar. My wife will happily sit in a chair by the pool, tan and read all day. I will do that for maybe an hour. I dont tan, I burn. When we go to the beach I play with my kids. I looked at the excursions. The trail ride is just plodding trail ponies and I can ride at home. I tbought the jet skis sounded interesting until I read the reviews ans saw you stay in a single file line and putter along. I plan to bring my mask and snorkel to try to check out the sea life at Relaxaway.

Track IR is working fine in the Track IR program. I went into DCS, looked at the controls and saw Track Ir listed. I wasnt sure why it wasnt working in DCS, but I had seen a suggestion to rescan devices. I did that and now Track IR isnt showing up in controls at all.

Any helpful ideas would be appreciated.

Im doing a rematch and got to the Scottish Ghost episode. Crusher talked about her grandmother raising her after her mother's death. It got me thinking about the childhoods of all the main charachters.

Tasha Yar- parents dead, feared death and gang rape constantly

Will Riker- dead mother, hostile father

Beverly Crusher- mother died (and assuming father died) and raised by Grandmother

Wesley Crusher- father KIA at very young age

Deanna Troi- father KIA at age 7

Worf- parents KIA at very young age. Had great adoptive parents, but was always the Klingon kid in the class

Jean Luc Picard- in TNG we knew his father was not happy about him joining starfleet, the Picard series fleshed out the bad childhood

Georgia Laforge- parents weren't killed, but had a highly unusual childhood. He describes either being with his father or mother, but rarley both as a family. His parents might as well have been divorced.

This is plagiarism, I saw another parent post something similar today. It is hard to tell what makes a good candidate for a school and what doesn't. It is far different than when I applied for college.

My twins will be seniors next fall and applying for college in August.
