Micro destination wedding (3k)

I just wanted to share our budget for our tiny Smokey mountain destination wedding incase anyone else needs some inspo.
We got married at chapel in the hollow in Seymour,TN.
Our guest count was 12 not including us.
Venue (including photography, flowers, minimal decor, and officiant) : 1300
Food: about $450
Drinks: 150
Stay ( 4 night honeymoon cabin): 700
Cake: $20 Kroger cake
Dress/ veil: $250 it was an Amazon find and I needed no alterations
Menswear: 100
Kids clothes 120
Shoes: $200
Hand fasting cords: $20ish. I made them myself!
Total: $3290

We got the venue for 1 hr plus 30 mins set up. I was really nervous this wouldn’t be enough but it was just the right amount of time and our photographer got tons of lovely photos in that time.

We went to lunch after at a local restaurant and just sat as a large group so no catering.

Drinks we had after at the larger cabin my parents rented. This is not included in the budget breakdown but I believe it was $500 a night and had a hot tub, sauna, indoor pool, foosball table, pool table and arcade. Everyone had a blast. We bought some moon shine and a couple 12 packs of pop. Everyone went their separate ways for dinner.

The venue was incredible. I’d recommend them to anyone wanting to get married in the area. We showed up with our rings and cords and they took care of the rest. It was a beautiful ceremony and the space was breathtaking.

I just wanted to show an example of a super low budget wedding that I think was still just as lovely as people that have budgets in the tens of thousands.

Work within your means. Don’t go into debt over a day and don’t let social media make you think it has to be this grand crazy thing. So what feels right for you and your partner.

Goodluck! I hope your weddings are all exactly what you dreamed of!

Bio parent looking for advice

So my bio daughter is 11. My fiancé and I have been together 5 years living together for 2 and have a 1yo together. Before moving in together their relationship was perfect. They were best friends. She would often say she preferred him to me. After the move things started to deteriorate some. He does not have quite as much patience for her as me . He views her as disrespectful and often points it out and scolds her for it.
This came to a head recently when we were having a dinner out he took some fries from her plate and she said “hey you have your own fries” he responded with “ I’ll remember this later when you need me” in a very harsh tone. I pulled him aside and asked what was going on because the reaction seemed extreme to me and he responded that she was selfish and disrespectful. I said I didn’t see it this way. To me she sounded as if she was joking and I wasn’t sure that not sharing food was a massive sign of disrespect. This turned into a massive fight that needed with him saying that she was the reason he waited to propose and that she was “fucked up”. These things were not said in front of her but I was obviously angry. I walked away from the situation and am staying with friends for the moment.
He has since apologized for those comments but I am not sure where to go from here. Is this something that can be fixed? Is there a way back from this?
We’ve tried me taking the lead on punishment but this does not seem to work. He doesn’t think I punish her for disrespect often enough so he attempts to call her out in the moment. This has led to her feeling as though he hates her and picks on her and she doesn’t want to be home anymore.
I just want my family to be whole again. I’d love to hear from stepparents that were able to heal broken relationships. What do we do? How do I fix this?
