Mac 512Ke Battlestation - Circa 1988

I have a 39" curved monitor (LG 39GX950B), and I'm thinking of purchasing my first light bar. Here are the features that I'm looking for:
Is there any good product that does all of that?
I recently got the LG 39GX950B, and I'm using it 80% for Mac productivity and 20% for PC gaming. Right away, I started to notice a problem: My eyes felt fatigued after a few hours of productivity work (mostly coding, writing e-mails, and web surfing). Text clarity is really good, so I don't think that's the problem. My hunch is that it's caused by the extremely high contrast of this display.
This never happened when I was using my Dell U4025QW (40" 5K2K IPS display). This got me thinking: Why not put the monitors side by side, and tweak the LG settings until it mostly matched the Dell. I gave that a try, and it made a big difference! The LG still causes more fatigue than the Dell; however, now it's really quite tolerable.
Here are the settings that make the LG match the Dell fairly closely:
Setting the Black Stabilizer to 80 was the most important step. It reduced contrast, and made my eyes feel much more relaxed, especially with Dark Mode enabled on the Mac.
Anyway, if you're using your 39GX950B on your Mac for productivity tasks, and you find that you have some eye strain, try those settings. I hope it helps.
I've had the Dell 40" U4025QW IPS display for about 9 months. It's a great monitor for a mix of 80% productivity and 20% gaming. I think it's the best ultrawide you can get for productivity. However, it's only okay for gaming. I wanted more!
Then last month I got the LG 39" 39GX950B OLED display. I knew it would be great for gaming. However, I was curious if it would be good enough for productivity. I've been using it as my main display for 4 weeks. What's my verdict? Can it replace the Dell as my all-around monitor?
Almost! I was about to sell the Dell on eBay. However, I connected it one more time after not using it for a few weeks, and I instantly fell back in love with its excellent text, perfect white backgrounds, and lack of eye fatigue. It really is an amazing monitor for productivity.
Now I've decided to keep both! The Dell will be used for Mac productivity, and the LG will be my PC gaming display. It's the best of both worlds!
For those of you trying to make the same decision, feel free to ask questions.
I just got the Nova Pro Omnis and have them connected to my Mac. I'm able to adjust the volume from the dial on the headset. However, I can't change it using any of these techniques:
Does anyone know of a workaround?
This is my lovely productivity and gaming battlestation! There's actually quite a lot of stuff here. Whew! It took a while to hide the cables!
I'm thinking of getting a Stream Deck+, and I'm wondering if it will let me do all of the things listed below.
Windows Gaming:
Mac:
Also, I would be using this with a USB switch in order to share the Stream Deck with both of my computers. Do you think switching between the two computers would be a problem for it?
I recently got the LG 39GX950B, and I assumed I wouldn't be able to find a compatible KVM switch. To the best of my knowledge there aren't any DisplayPort 2.1 KVM switches yet.
However, just for a test, I connected the monitor to my existing CableMatters DisplayPort 1.4 KVM, and it works! I've been using it all day, and so far there are no issues. I'm kinda shocked!
Here is the hardware & software involved:
Windows Gaming Machine:
Mac Productivity Machine:
KVM Switch:

Anyway, if you're looking for a KVM that works with the LG 39GX950B, try my setup above! I'm thinking this setup might work for any 5K2K monitor up to 165Hz.
