I was working on this character design for a while and was wondering how does it look in terms of design.

Before I reach to my final character design, I tend to work with a lot of iterations before I conclude on what design looks best. Drawing a small and squishy character has its challenges so in order to understand the character model, I work on its full body design and even go as far as going to use 3D to understand form.

It's a lot I know but I do have my own structure and it becomes easier afterwards while designing new character from scratch. Designing a character with a theme in mind like creating a grimdark element especially with modern or futuristic equipment for me at least is challenging because I never design or even draw armour as much but the look is there but still working on improving it.

For some time I've been creating a short avatar (on the left) and now I've tested a design or concept for a bit more like half body character (on the right) for a PNGTuber. So I was wondering which one do you prefer style wise?

At the moment the character on the right is still WIP so there will be a few iterations on the design.

Hello I'm giving this away this PNGTuber for free. The style is kinda like madness because I'm that much of Newgrounds fan. I'm designing it towards more like a grimdark scifi element kinda.

Do let me know how you feel about the design.

So for context this is a original character that I have been working on by trying to solve the problems regarding the armour design for this sci-fi character. I also tried to work on the helmet design as well and see what fits into the armour. I wanted to make it look mobile but also heavy armour like those of a Spartan from Halo. Right now I'm struggling to make this character's helmet to fit into their armour.

Is there any suggestions on how to fix it? So far my only solution is just to view it in 3D form just to understand the form but I want some perspectives too. Thanks
