Wanted to draw Croc but I still haven't found that "anatomical view" picture I was looking for in my last post so I doodled some friends for him

Dachora was kinda my own take on things, decided to do ostrich feet instead of chicken feet like most people seem to do (ostrich feet are weird and hard to draw, it turns out!)

For the Etecoon I just used the official art since the only detailed pic of them I can think of is from Fusion, and is either cut off or they're piled together sleeping, they're not my favorite part of this pic but I do love them so I will probably try to redo them later down the line

Croc and "The Baby"™ (sorry for any Other M trauma 😅) I just doodled from sprites/official art where necessary since they're more detailed than the other 2 in game

Croc was a absolute bear to draw but I'm also most proud of how he came out

In search of a specific Crocomire picture

I preface this by saying I swear I've seen it before, unless I fever dreamed it up and I'm just delusional

I remember a few years ago seeing a "Anatomy of Crocomire" picture similar to this one of Samus from Nintendo Power, but more in the style of those minecraft "Anatomy of a Creeper" or "Anatomy of Pikachu" tshirts with the 3/4 view and the curved cut-out showing Croc's internals, rather than a dead on view or a side view

Am I crazy? Or am I just having the worst luck looking for it? I wanted to doodle our favorite "didn't do anything wrong" boy in a sort of field journal style picture (like a case study) but can't find that pic anywhere to save my life

Shrooms in the rain

Got a bit wet getting these pics but neat to see where one of my favorite trees got felled, the shrooms are coming in

Shrooms in the rain

Was trying to beat a downpour and ADHD kicked in when I saw these guys, so I got a bit soaked 🤣

But also some neat pics of this stump in the yard (sadly one of my favorite trees was dying and they cut it down, silver lining is shrooms to enjoy looking at)

Cajun song from Knight Rider episode "Ring of Fire"

As the title suggests, trying to find this particular song from the birthday party scene (yes I know in the clip I said potluck xD right after it's explained that it's a birthday party)

Question about a wire conversation (MG-40 Aviator headset)

Afternoon/early evening everyone,

Just a while ago I purchased a used Marv Golden (not MG as in the Music Gear brand) aviation headset for modding purposes (I like that vintage/aviator look)

I didn't think too much about it at the time because I had aspirations to turn them into a bluetooth headset, but I saw a few things since purchasing about impedence being different between aviators and normal headphones

From what I've gathered this is strictly when it comes to the microphone? If it is then it's not that big of a issue since I would likely replace that with one that works on a 3.5mm jack (I'm hoping to make them Bluetooth but I'm keeping my options open to 3.5mm for standard plug and play)

Essentially I just wanted to check and make sure that the actual speakers/drivers in the ear cups won't have a issue converting from a 1/4inch dual jack standard General Aviation cable, to a smaller 4 strand 3.5mm cable (if necessary I can likely replace them with some drivers from a old busted headset or get a cheap new wired set to Frankenstein the parts from)

Also if anyone has tips on setting up a decent bluetooth circuit that would be appreciated as well (it may end up with me just using the cord from the broken Turtle Beach set I was given for parts since it is already 4 strand with built in mic and volume controls, or a GA to 3.5mm converter but that's a last resort)

Thanks in advance

Looking for info on my uncle's old board

As the title would suggest, I'm trying to learn what I can about my uncle's old board that got passed down to me

The best answer I've found so far is "maybe it's a Walmart board"

What I do know: -its from the late 80s or sometime in the 90s, most likely 90s

  • top left corner says CHASE -deck art says ROADKILL with a broken tire skid pattern on a green background -original wheels had a red ring around the little divet, and white star outlines on that red ring

What I don't know:

  • if Chase is a brand or just a marker of some kind
  • literally anything else about this board

I only have the one good photo from the time I tried out longboard wheels years ago, a few years after that my sister and her friend decided they were going to spray paint it. I was absolutely livid. To this day Im still pissed off, I've been steadily scraping and chipping paint away on and off for years to restore it best I can. My uncle is no longer with us, Roadkill is. I want to do right by them both (and learning what I can about the board while I try to salvage it)

Mystery bug in Central NC [and bonus Pearl Crescent butterfly!]

My friend thinks assassin bug (which we have had on occasion, I accidentally ended one once when I knocked it out of my hair [it startled me 😅] twas a wheel bug) but to me it's looking kinda like a leaf bug or western conifer seed bug? Definitely has that stinkbug fart of a seed bug

(Don't worry I was taking it outside, that's why it's in the cup. Got a nifty pic of a pearl crescent butterfly for my trouble :D)

Lightningbugs making a comeback in central NC 😃

Kind of a sad but cool moment I just had, saw a lightning bug (firefly) caught in a spider web by my front door so I got the little fella out and tried my best to clean them up

Glowing pretty strong, but wasn't moving any so I'm hoping it was just tuckered out (placed in a safe patch of grass near a crepe myrtle tree)

I'm just happy to see them at all these days, I remember as a kid you couldnt step outside at night without getting swarmed by them (it was awesome) I've been trying to make the yard more hospitable to them last year and this year (despite my family manicuring my purposely wild areas -_-) so I'm glad to see one, hopefully that means there's more around :)
