Multi-State Tax Compliance Resources

Hi all! For those who work in small firms, what software/resources do you utilize to research filing requirements for income tax, income sourcing, payroll, sales tax for multiple states? Recently I’ve been doing a lot of state by state research into each of those requirements, and it is very time consuming. Would be great to have a single resource to reference for filing requirements by state, by tax type. I’ve seen people mention CCH State Smart Charts on this sub, so I’ll be looking into that at bare minimum. Appreciate any recommendations!

Siding Question

Hello! Earlier today we had a couple pieces of siding replaced, including this one below the door and the concrete porch. We now have this gap and are concerned about water getting in between. The contractor offered to remedy it by “injecting it then epoxying over it”. Is this the best long-term solution to fix something like this? Thank you!!

Annual Leave Payout

For those who have left the service recently, how long after resigning did it take you receive your annual leave payout? I know during DRP the process was significantly delayed, but curious if it’s gotten faster. TIA!
