• UTMB 2026: Ben Dhiman won in 18:16:29, the first sub-19-hour finish, while Blandine L'Hirondel set the women's course record in 21:54:49.
• Athlos NYC was cancelled, only London left :(

• gnuhr August 25 drop: New wool shag pieces, a sweater, beanie, Tubular T and Creeper colorways, Warp cargo leggings, and Breaker Wind Pants.
• norda x Black Diamond 000: Lower drop and lower stack trail shoe from norda in collab with outdoor hiking brand Black Diamond. Sick backpack as part of the capsule too.
• Bandit City Limits: Fall marathon-block kit built around CoolGrid, Polartec Waffle, RipSpeed, WindSheer, and BreezeBlock fabrics. Combo jacket/vest is yet to be released but seems pretty slick. *Satisfy Band on the Run - some new graphic tees, a baseball tee, and a new print on the shirts. Notably they renamed some of their trademarked tech...not sure why!
• Nike Pegasus Plus 2: Added a forefoot Zoom Air unit, full-length ZoomX, no plate, and a $165 to $170 price. Initial all red color is sort of boring.
• UYN Dolomya: UYN's first dedicated trail running line, using natural fibers and seamless density changes across layers, shorts, tights, and a Kapok fleece sub-line.
• Nike x Distance: A Vaporfly 4, zebra-striped Vomero Plus, and football-club-style merch. Based on the co-founders first pairs of running shoes.
• Zara Athleticz x Ridar: A nine-piece capsule with the Korean eyewear and running brand. Glasses available online in Europe, not in the US. Boring colors.
• Optimistic Runners AW26: Running and office wear crossed with silk, translucent mesh, Polartec Alpha, and a moto-cut jacket.
• Puma x Hello Sunrise: Puma taps Seoul lifestyle brand Hello Sunrise, which also has a run club.
• FP Movement x On: Free People's activewear line got a collab with On on some cute Cloudmonsters
• Schism EXO-GRID Split Short: New 2.5-inch split with stretch grid fabric, a five-pocket brief liner from NYC micro brand, Schism

Upcoming Releases

• Nike ACG Picklejus: A big-mountain trail shoe with GOATEK traction, a dual-density supercritical platform, and more than 18,000 athlete test miles. It is not expected to release until late 2027.
• Brooks x Alex Zono Ghost Trail: Two colorways arrive September 10 through Kith, Extra Butter, Sneaker Politics, END, SEVENSTORE, and other boutique stores. Notably no running sotres.
• Lièvre Running: The Geneva brand's new capsule dropped September 6 at 6pm CEST, with email subscribers getting early access at 5:30.

• Diadora Corsa — $155 high stack lightweight trainer with an SCF midsole and TPU foam insole. Retro silhouette, aimed at everyday training. Should feel pretty lively and compete with the other brands. Men's colorway is a vibe.
• Hylo Impact 2 — UK brand's daily trainer refreshed, a bio-based nitrogen-infused SCF. 50% sustainable and recycled content, updated upper fit. $155, out now.
• Nike Vomero Plus (Cow Print) — $190, dropped August 6. Animal prints having a moment.
• Norda FW26 Colorups — new colorways for fall, plus a new Norda 055 G+ with microspikes for aggressive terrain.
• District Vision FW26 — updated colorways and silhouettes across the core line and apparel, airflow theme. Altitude Master and Junya Racer are the signatures, lots of photochromic lenses. This is what Harry Styles was wearing in all his marathons.
• Kuro Athletics Eyewear — new luxury performance eyewear brand. Killer optics, titanium build. Incredibly high end, these are not for the faint of heart or wallet...if money is no object take a look.
• Brooks Running x Free People Movement — collab on the Glycerin 23 and Glycerin Max 2 with FP motifs, ribbon and fuzzy laces. Cute!
• Saucony Majors Collection — marathon Majors colorways, more wearable than usual. NYC in soft blue and gold is the standout.
• Raide Women's Trail Line — integrated race cargo crop with a built-in bra at $129, essentially a race crop and trail vest in one, plus a women's-specific belt that sits on the hips. Both nearly sold out. I'm jealous of the new women's cargo crop.
• Hermanos Koumori x New Era — latest HK/New Era collab, more understated than their heat map graphics with chainstitch styling.
• CARNIVAL x Garmin — Bangkok streetwear store's collab with Garmin, more co-label than collaboration.
• Wyrd Running — new witchy prints added to tops and shorts, including banker stripe shorts and a medieval tee. Hard to get stateside.
• SOAR — has some new colorways of their singlets out and brought back the leopard print as well as a new kaleidoscope pattern

• Puma x SAYSKY — their noted "final" collab, business attire themed apparel plus a Deviate NITRO Elite 4 and MagMax NITRO 2. Dropping August 20. Someone leaked here.
• Nike Kigerfly — teased trail racer, ribbed knit upper with a higher bootie ankle and ZoomX foam. Jennifer Lichter wore it for her WSER win and record.
• Saucony x Keith Haring — another round with the Keith Haring Foundation, bold patterns and illustrations. Date TBD.
• Adidas x Song for the Mute – shared already here. Aussie brand collab in round 2.

Bit of a lull period now before the full fall capsules and shoe announcements. I put together a very long guide on alternatives to the overused Oakley Eye Jacket Redux sunglasses too. UTMB is coming up at the end of August so expect to see some new racers and gear there.

• SATISFY x Levi's STONER — reworked vintage denim capsule referencing the 70s Stonemasters. Sold out already.
• Merrell MTL SpeedARC Peak — Merrell's 45th anniversary shoe and first plated trail racer: dual-density supercritical foam with a carbon plate, Matryx upper, Vibram Megagrip Elite. $290. Some LOUD neon
• Alex Zono — full running capsule now live after previewing at Paris Fashion Week. Wild colors and a just-rightly-wrong feel to everything; the linen Kite shirt is the standout.
• Unna Time to Jog — mini capsule of striped long sleeves and a Born To Jog tee from one of the better lifestyle-performance blends going.
• Kaleg F26 — fall capsule from the Korean brand pushing westward: shacket, pocketed shorts, trail vests, running belts.
• SUMS — the UK sock specialist launched a full running apparel line. Curious to see whether the sock trust carries over.
• Amateur store — new boutique endurance store in New Canaan, CT stocking Norda, Satisfy, District Vision, Bandit, and Tracksmith. One of the first US takes on the Luft / En Route model.
• LSD store is in trouble — no closing announcement but their site went down and looks like folks are having trouble with support.

Upcoming

• New Balance SC Elite 6 — near-translucent upper with old-school logos and colorways. Arriving August.
• New Balance SC Rebel — Infinion foam, 5mm more stack, carbon-infused PEBAX plate. $200 (up $50), arriving August.
• The North Face Offtrail Ultra — supercritical foam, bootie upper, built for expeditions. August 4. The colorway is a reference to their 1990 expedition jacket.
• Mount to Coast M1 — their more rugged trail racer. JETCELL supercritical foam, Vibram Megagrip, wider base. $195, August 10.
• Adidas Zyrion Pro — carbon-plated follow-up in the Boston line, $225, China market only for now.
