How to respond to this baptist argument?

The classic "the Bible saysto repent and be baptized argument." And babies can't repent yaddi yadda. What is the best response to this argument.

Lichess puzzles are sick - I have a question though.

Hey guys - I'm sure there are several websites that have great puzzles to practice with but I really like Lichess because of the different themes/ and the puzzle dashboard etc. etc.

I'm curious though, seeing as Lichess doesn't seem to have a way to repeat the puzzles you miss more than once - do you guys have a strategy for how to save the puzzles that you missed?

Thanks!

Good grief - how often are you supposed to take an iron supplement?

This person says "every other day. . . this study says this."

This doctor says "once every morning."

This person says "once each day and titrate up as your gut/ system learns to handle more."

So how frequently do you all take iron?

Just curious if anyone experienced a mood boost after just a few weeks of iron supplementation. It seems that I'm experiencing that but it may just be placebo.

Good luck to all in their recovery.

As far as I can tell - the majority of folks prefer lamictal as it is tolerated way way more than keppra.

Am I seeing this clearly? What do you guys think.

Side effects on keppra have been terrible.

I was just wondering how many of you guys who get light-headed/ woozy after taking an iron supplement feel better after your next meal? Chat GPT tells me its normal to feeel better after your subsequent meal but ChatGPT thinks A LOT of things lol.

I hope you all are slowly getting those iron levels up!

Hello,

I'm on the east coast and am wanting to try oysters (maybe clams). We found good old "great value" brand oysters at wal-mart that are ASC certified and that are smoked so probably no risk of norovirus etc.

On the other hand we have a local seafood shop that sources most of their seafood from the outer banks. And of course they get oysters from there.

So I'm conflicted on what's healthier, safer, and more nutritious. On the one hand, the canned, smoked oysters from wal-mart are certified and smoked and were farm raised so they shouldn't have scarcely any contaminants. On the other hand, the oysters available at my local seafood shop are -- well -- local. They are wild caught so I suppose they may have more contaminants and they could potentially have pollutants yaddi yadda - idk.

If you coudln't tell I'm pretty new to seafood outside of just eating a few cans of skipjack each week lol.

Can you guys help?

Completely forgot to mention that I'm talking about "classical" - long time control chess.. not blitz.

Maybe that doesn't make much difference.
