Now this is something I’ve figured out after watching Dean Wade last season and connecting all of it today. The Cavs’ biggest problem last seas on and even post season with Wade was him being passive.

Dude would NOT should the ball unless the guy was like 10 feet away for the life of him, getting an insane amount of 0-5pt games as someone who actually can shoot the ball pretty well. This is where the Sixers come in. They have FIVE really fucking good players who might need the ball in their hand, and who will be always be the focus over him on offense.

This dude can just do what loves now. Clamp someone up on defense, sit in a corner or set some screens and shit. Just repeatedly keep clamping defenders and sitting in the corner on offense while the other stars do their thing on offense. Zero expectation from him to get any touches, dude’s just fine with scrapping against great players on defense the whole time.

Considering all of this, I truly believe this is one of the best situational fits I can think of as an NBA role player. In my head it’s really amazing cause the guy found a perfect situation for himself. The Sixers also had a really good offseason so fair played
