Liner Bead Track - Normal?

PB had to pull off liner 2 times so far (soon to be a third time to remove stones from under the liner + fix stair cushions). After removing liner second time, they hammered in the corners, which now look like images below (pasting a photo of just 2 of the corner but all have some damage). They're telling us that these are tracks that can be hammered in, and this is fine and that they had to do it since it was harder to put back the liner after taking it off a 2nd time. Is this normal? Will this cause issues for a future liner install? Will bluestone coping have to be lifted later to replace liner or fix the bead track?

Flowable fill under steel stadium steps?

Is it possible to eliminate the hollow feel and sound that occurs with steel stadium steps in an I ground vinyl liner pool by using flowable fill?

It’s closed top steps with an open back - pool company backfilled with RCA but still have the hollow sound and feel as of course the backfill cannot be tightly compacted under them and want to ask them to redo before the pavers and coping are installed

Reverberation under stairs - Vinyl Liner Pool

For those with an inground vinyl, liner pool and stadium steps, should there be any reverberation (like hitting a drum) when you step on to the steps? We have a new pool build and experiencing that even after backfilling under the stairs. thanks!

Ferry from Rovinj to Venice

Hi! Ferry from Rovinj to Venice leaves at 815AM - I think on the ferry site it said to arrive an hour early. Is this truly necessary? How early can we safely arrive? This is during the first week of September. Also, is it necessary to book tickets in advance for this route at this time? thanks!

Looking for suggestions for Croatia itinerary, please

Planning a trip to Croatia from August 23 to Sep 4 with our almost 5 year old. Our first stop we plan to spend 5 nights in Split to check out the area and do some day trips from there (Krka, Trogir, Bol)...then we are not sure best way to proceed.

  1. Continue to Havr for 3 nights and then end with 3 nights in Dubrovnik - all via public transit, no car rental
  2. Rent car and drive to Istria for 4 nights and then would have to either take ferry or drive to Venice or Zagreb for last 2 nights to catch flight home.
  3. Somewhere else?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! We're trying to avoid insane crowds and have a place to cool off if it gets too hot.

thank you!!

Is this normal for a vinyl liner?

80% through our pool rip out and replace project, and we noticed that one corner is baggy. All other corners are taught to the wall. For reference this is a rectangular pool with stadium steps and the loose corner is on the side where the steps are. Is this normal? Please see video.

Daughter scratched by a squirrel - concerned about rabies even though min risk

Someone alleviate my anxiety please - reddit not letting me post multiple videos, but this squirrel was approaching us during our picnic even though we only had 2 bagels out and a cookie. Daughter tried to shoo it away first but didn't go far so then she tossed it some crumbs which it ate. Then, when she went to give it some more, my daughter approached the squirrel about 2 feet away while it was clinging to the bottom of a tree and it jumped on her arm, scratching it in a few places. I don't think it looked rabid - just overly confident, but freaking out. Any advice from the above video - does it look normal?

(I know it was dumb to let her feed it and won't happen again before I get those comments)
