WFH jobs with good pay

I currently work as CCM. Although I love my job, the micromanaging is starting to wear me down. My hours are wonderful, but the pay isn’t the best.

I currently have my associates and would enjoy finding a company that would help with school.

I have worked as a nurse for 10 years, most being in home health or med-surg.

Does anyone know of any companies hiring with decent pay? Most places I have looked at have been around $70,000/ year.

AITAH by not inviting grandmothers to my kids birthday party?

So for context me and my husband both had a difficult upbringing. We are not close to most of our family. We have 2 beautiful kids, 8 and 12. This weekend we are having our daughter’s birthday party and have not invited either one of our mothers.

My MIL recently took our children on a vacation. During this vacation we found out that our children were left in a hotel room with our 12 year old niece and her friend. During this time she and my SIL went to the beach. While they were left unsupervised my 8 year old went to the pool with our niece, leaving out 12 year old son with a 12 year old girl alone. Long story short we went to get our children early into the vacation. We were informed they were also allowed to walk alone through a busy resort on multiple occasions. During this family feud there were things that came out about my husband’s childhood that were traumatic. My MIL was an immature parent and allowed my now husband to drink, smoke and get a tattoo at the age of 12. Instead of apologizing to my husband for what she did in the past she just spoke of him needing therapy. She gave a half-ass apology for the vacation situation. My MIL has not been a huge part of our children’s lives. She does not come to see them or check on them, although she lives close. When cutting contact with her we also have to cut contact with my SIL and my husband’s grandmother due to their toxic relationship with my MIL.

Now for my mom, she has spent most of my life addicted to meth. She often decides to “live like Jesus “ and become homeless. During her time of being homeless she will beg for money. If she is not given the money she throws a tantrum and says many hurtful things. She has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. The paranoia that she had caused her to call dhr and make false allegations regarding my 12 year old. I went no contact with her months ago.

With my daughter’s birthday party coming me and my husband’s are having mixed feelings. We are unsure if we should invite one/both of them or if we should leave it alone. We do not want to deprive our kids of grandparents but we also don’t want them to feel like they should allow toxic behavior.

Should I go no contact with my mom??

My mom has been diagnosed with schizophrenia for many years. Through my childhood she was always in and out and addicted to meth. She always says she is clean, but often goes through the same cycles. She does okay-ish for a while and then is back to only worrying about herself and requesting my financial support.

I have kids of my own now. I went no contact with her due to her calling in a false report to DHR concerning my son. I eventually forgave her at the request of my grandmother. She never calls to check on my kids.

She is currently homeless and quit her job. She recently called me asking for a large amount of money. When I told her no she responded with “if you aren’t calling to help me don’t call at all.” I have given her money for food, medication, doctors visits and many other things.

I am wanting to go no contact due to her lack of emotional support. I am also dealing with guilt because I do not know if it is a good time. These emotional cycles are taking a huge toll on me and my family. I just do not know if I should wait until she is in a better mental state.
