Going into my sophomore year of college today as a commuter. I had the funds to afford an apartment had I split it with other people, but after my dorm experience freshman year, I can never see myself living on my own with other people that aren’t family. When I looked this up on google a lot of the people who felt this way were introverts, and I’m quite the opposite. I simply just enjoy having my own space and for the one school year I had to share a room or living space with other people, I genuinely disliked it so much I came home often because of it. My roommates were fine, don’t speak to a few of them but I was never that close with many of them anyways. Am I stuck up? I even see in the future living in the cheapest single bedroom place I possibly can.

Drove around Knox to see my commuter remote lots (pray for me this fall I’m also commuting an hour) and really like the commuter remote 3 lot since it doesn’t seem like a place many will park anyways. Where does the T link pick you up? I know where the bus would run every other lot (except CR 1 which I will absolutely not park in even at the sacrifice of missing class), but I didn’t see a bus station there. Help? Thank you!

Hello! I took a summer class at Walters State since it’s a pre req for a course I need this fall. When should I expect the grade to transfer to my DARS? I got it verified by my advisor that it will transfer to UTK and applied as a student for a transfer credit when I applied to get into Walters State for the course back in March, so I do believe I am in the clear that the class will transfer. Hello! I’m commuting an hour to Knox for classes in the fall and I was wondering what time would be best to leave my house? My first class is at 10 but I was expecting to leave the house around 8 to give myself an hour to find a spot just in case.

I want to preface that I do believe I am somewhat attractive. I’m a midsize 19 year old girl with really good features, however every second I am around or even see a beautiful woman I completely feel myself bottom out. Growing up, I was a weirdo girl who never took much pride in her appearance until my senior year of HS. I’m starting my sophomore year of college soon and I feel like my mental health is worse. I go to a large southern school so you can imagine the sea of 10s everywhere around me. I feel like I can’t date, make friends, or allow myself to socialize because I’m not as attractive or lady like in comparison to other women. I’m a very social person, but I stay pretty to myself in the fear of being the ugly girl annoying an attractive guy or other girl. I feel myself slowly giving up on finding a partner or advancing in my career (majoring in a media related major) because in comparison to other women I stand no chance of survival. I’m willing to admit I’m not helping myself considering I stalk attractive women who have my dream life on social media for extended time knowing it is something I cannot picture myself achieving. Maybe I got this mindset from people being mean, not dating in school, or actually just being a loser.

Hello. I (19F) have severe menstrual pain to the point where I overtake pain meds and am bed ridden for days at a time. I am not sexually active, and BC would only be taken for my period pains, but I’m terrified of many factors. Those factors are: Weight gain, acne, triggering early menopause. If I do start, what would be the best option for me? Thank you!
