What is happening to my apple tree?
The leaves turned yellow and spotty and then all of a sudden they all fell off. Most of the fruit still looks okay but it lost a lot of it.

Are these good candidates for bonsai?
I pulled these little maples out of a patch of bushes. Clearly they’ve been cut back a time or two. I’ve had them in pots for a few weeks now. When I pulled the wilty out of the ground, most of the roots broke off but it hasn’t died or dried up so I’m not giving up. Will they make good bonsai candidates or will they grow up to be beautiful regular trees?
