3 weeks on Reta – little to no effect, looking for similar experiences

Hey guys, I started daily GHK-Cu about a month ago, and roughly 3 weeks ago I began Retatrutide.

My Reta protocol so far:

17.06: 0.5mg

22.06: 0.5mg

27.06: 1mg

02.07: 2mg

So far the effects have been very subtle – maybe slightly faster satiety, but I'm honestly not sure if that's the Reta or something else. Source is solid, same batch has been tested on both Janoshik and Finnrick with good results.

I know 3 weeks is still early and 2mg is considered the tolerance-building phase. But I'm curious:

Did others feel little to nothing in the first weeks?

When did you start noticing real effects?

At what dose did things really click for you?

For those who use cannabis alongside Reta – how has that affected your experience?

Would love to hear from people with similar starting experiences. 🙏

Years of chronic right-arm pain/weakness – Sudden relief with high-dose Magnesium (TOS symptoms?)

Hi everyone,

I’ve been struggling for years with a chronic issue affecting my right arm, and it’s been incredibly frustrating, especially during gaming. I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone has insights on why my current "stack" is finally providing some relief.

\*\*The Background & History:\*\*

This isn't my first time dealing with arm/shoulder issues. About 10 years ago, I suffered from Tennis Elbow in \*\*both\*\* arms simultaneously. I never had it professionally treated; it eventually faded away on its own. Interestingly, about 7-8 years ago, my main problems were actually on my \*\*left\*\* side. Generally, I’ve always had issues with tension in both my shoulders and my neck.

\*\*The Current Problem:\*\*

While the left side is fine now, the right side has been a nightmare for years. The problems mainly occur when I use my mouse for gaming. I get severe tension starting in my neck, right above the collarbone (clavicle), radiating down into my right arm. My arm loses strength and feels weak, making it impossible to control my mouse properly.

I also notice it when using my phone: holding it with both hands and typing with my right thumb triggers that same annoying sensation after a while. It feels like a mix of burning and an "over-acidified" (lactic acid) feeling.

\*\*The Breakthrough:\*\*

I have tried almost every supplement and ergonomic setup over the years with no success. But a few days ago, I started a high-dose regimen of \*\*Magnesium Bisglycinate\*\* (taking about 600mg to 700mg of elemental magnesium per day) along with high doses of Vitamin D + K2.

\*\*The Results:\*\*

\* \*\*Physical:\*\* My right arm suddenly feels much "freer." It's not perfect yet, but it's \*\*significantly\*\* better. No more acute pain or that weak, acidic feeling while gaming.

\* \*\*Mental:\*\* I feel much more "present" and awake. It also feels like my ADHD symptoms have improved; I’m calmer and more focused.

\*\*The Side Effects & Concerns:\*\*

I have a history of anxiety and sleep issues. Since increasing the Magnesium dose, I’ve noticed a spike in internal nervousness and "shortness of breath" (anxious breathing). My sleep has also become a bit more restless.

\*\*My Questions:\*\*

  1. \*\*Could the "shortness of breath" or anxiety be an electrolyte imbalance caused by the high Magnesium intake?\*\* I strongly suspect this because over the last two years, I’ve had moments where my body seemed to "scream" for electrolytes. Whenever I felt that sudden wave of anxiety and nervousness, taking salt or an electrolyte drink made me feel better almost instantly. This happened especially when I was using a different Magnesium complex supplement in the past.

  2. \*\*Does the relief in my arm suggest my issue is purely muscular/nerve compression (like TOS) triggered by mouse/thumb movements?\*\*

  3. \*\*Why would Magnesium help my ADHD and arm pain so much, yet trigger my anxiety at the same time?\*\*

Would love to hear your thoughts!

I’ve been searching for the perfect mouse for 12 months and tested about 20 different mice. Finally, I found the **Sony Inzone M1**. The shape is 10/10 for my 19.5 x 11cm hands—it’s the first one that’s actually comfortable and gives me zero pain.

**The Problem:**

I’ve been maining it for a few days now, but I felt "off" and couldn't figure out why. I’ve been gaming for 12 years and usually perform well on any mouse, but with this one, my aim feels inconsistent. Today I finally realized why: **The sensor is positioned significantly lower** (about 0.5 - 1.0 cm further back) than on my GPX2 or Maya.

As soon as I switch back to a centered sensor, my aim is instantly better. But I hate the shapes of those other mice.

**My Questions:**

* For those who switched from a centered to a low sensor: How long did it take to adapt? Is it even possible to reach your peak performance with a sensor this far back?

* I’ve never used a mouse with such a low sensor in 12 years. Am I wasting my time trying to build muscle memory for it?

* Should I stick with the comfort of the Sony or keep searching for a mouse that has both—a good shape AND a centered sensor?

I really want this to work because it’s the first shape I truly like, but the sensor placement feels like a handicap right now. (Photos attached for comparison)
