I'm not sure if I expected it to be higher because clearly 100% of them do, or lower because falsehood is the lifeblood of MAGA

Here's one example of why.

OoC has an 'agronomancy' system that is basically just farming plots of land with different plants. But instead of going with the normal, tactile, obvious system of farming like many incremental games do with 2D isometric or orthogonal tiles, (eg the much better All hail the Orb) it does some weird spreadsheet simulator version of that with tiny cool down icons and a progress bar of how many plots you have free, overall much more obtuse and difficult to comprehend.

And I guess that fits the games overall aesthetic of being an obtuse spreadsheet simulator.

However...and this is the part that baffles me and points to it being done by hallucinating AI... When you are building a workshop, something you only ever do once, you place the workshop by clicking on an isometric tile that the mage has created in space. You only do this once and the workshop becomes another spreadsheet simulator menu-in-a-menu like the rest of the games clunky UI. But its still exactly the sort of interface you'd use for a farming mechanic.

This it points to a level of random 'no human would bother coding this for one interaction especially not when another much more obvious place to use it exists.'

OoC has been an incredible disappointment to me, and part of the reason is that compared to the original, it just feels like a bunch of half assed ideas tacked on by vibe coding in the last month, vs the 2-3 years the dev was claiming to work on it.

I don't get it. It's obvious Iran is going to close the strait again, and we're going back to war. The Trump admin can't do anything in good faith, the MOU is BS, and reserves haven't exactly had a chance to recover.

So what are traders seeing that we don't? Because prices are down to pre war levels afaict, doesn't seem to be any risk priced in at all.

You do know that insider trading is basically stealing from the stock market right? The money doesn't come from thin air. I know MAGA isn't very bright but I hear they're really obsessed with criminals that steal from them.

Edit: to those morons who don't know how markets work, insider trading is absolutely theft. The stock market is akin to gambling on the future of an asset. If I bet with you that something is going up and you bet the opposite, that's what buying a stock is. If I know that asset is going up or can force it to go up through market manipulation, that is me stealing from you

I've heard so many variations of the fake both sides argument it's sickening. The level of vileness, corruption, distaste for anyone that isn't a billionaire and cowardice in the face of a geriatric wannabe dictator by Republicans is so much worse than anything the Democrats do.

Are Democrats perfect? Hell no, far from it. But by constantly flip.flopping and excusing the worst behaviour of Republicans, you never demonstrate that what matters is more integrity, you just demonstrate that you can't decide between stale bread and rotten garbage, and make sure the rotten garbage keeps getting more rotten every cycle.

I'm sad for the US, but at least Trump didn't sell out Taiwan for some magic beans, (that we know) so it went better than expected.
