help

I haven’t had a period in over six months. I was working with a dr to induce one last week but i ended up getting one yesterday morning. I’m happy BUT IT HURT so incredibly bad. I do not know what to do anymore. I’ve taken advil and tylenol double dose and it helped but it still hurts so bad 😭 I don’t really want to go the rr because I doubt they’d do anything

circumstances

I’m still in college at the moment but was wondering if I could put both of these situational factors as part of my application. I feel like I could have done better in the beginning of my freshman year had factor 1 not occurred and factor 2 affected my performance at the end of my second year.

The first factor is that my parents left the country due to the political climate and I didn’t really have any support entering college in fact I left with them for my senior year of high school and then came back by myself a year later. I do have siblings in the country at the moment but we can’t really help each other out much because we’re all in college. My parents did help me with finances and my aid package was pretty good and has gotten better which is amazing.

The second factor is with my health. I’m not really sure what’s wrong yet I’ve been to two-three doctors and I’m down to either having both Pcos and Pots or just pcos. But my symptoms are quite bad (insulin resistance) despite being active and eating clean (and no i’m not overweight). This screwed with me a lot this spring quarter and I know I have two years to show improvement. But I was wondering who adcoms would view both of these syndromes considering the controversy surrounding both in the medical community. Essentially am I better off not mentioning them at all since some individuals don’t believe these factors can hinder anyone’s daily life?

tired and shaky

I haven’t been feeling too hot recently. I’m not sure if I’m just looking too closely at things or if it’s even worth it to go to a dr.

I wake up shaking and I start shaking while I drive. I’m absolutely exhausted all the time. I have trouble sleeping and terrible palpitations to the point where I can barely hear myself think. I also occasionally have awful chest pain and no longer have a period. I’m not too sure where to post this but I was thinking it might be a thyroid cause.

I got my TPo done and thyroglobulin antibodies and they’re normal. My T3 is low but it was also low six months ago. My tsh from six months ago was 0.8 and is now 0.52 (range of 0.5-4.4). Maybe I’m overthinking but should I give it six months and see what happens via retest. Or could it just be a problem elsewhere?

am i crazy

I haven’t been feeling too good for around a year but I mostly ignored things until I went home from college in december and ran some tests (but the dr said things were all normal). Last year my symptoms were mostly that I was extremely tired all the time and had trouble going to classes and working. I was mostly anxious and was constantly bleeding (light spotting all the time). I didn’t think too much of it then. I got some tests done and my t3, t4 was in the normal range. But unfortunately the last six months have been pretty rough. Something is always wrong 😑 like I don’t feel ok unless I stay home and do absolutely nothing - not cook or clean like I barely shower and eat. Since january I’ve had pretty bad chest pain and palpitations on and off, my period is completely gone, crushing fatigue, and I get a fever very easily. I’m also always sore and have awful episodes of back pain ( like I actually cannot move or bend for a day or so). I also had what feel like panic attacks - my chest hurts so bad feels like there’s no escape. I use to be able to push through and go to classes and work but I’ve taken almost two weeks off. Even if I go to my regular schedule for two days I feel awful. I also think I have IR and previously had elevated cortisol high dheas. I took a look at my last tests and noticed that my t3 was significantly lower based on a year difference. I’m wondering what it could be now that I feel pretty off. I also have not rlly had any changes in weight so I was thinking it probably isn’t hashi or a thyroid issue?

new episodes 19F

so I’ve never experienced any distinct back pain which i’m hella grateful. I’ve had bad posture and at times it’s given me reasonable discomfort but for the past three weeks I’ve had major back pain - as in this is probably the worst pain i have ever experienced. It’s radiating and sometimes starts from just standing for long (shooting pain from my legs). Once it starts it usually lasts a day but has gotten progressively longer. I usually take a lot of medication (double or triple my dose tylenol and ibuprofen) and then I’m basically bed ridden. I’m in college and this is becoming a problem because I have things to do but I physically cannot move. I can barely bend down during an episode and even the medication barely works. I thought this might be caused by being a new driver? However I’ve taken classes for a whole month prior ( 2hours per class) and never had any issues - But I did take these classes in a different car I drive now. I’m worried because I do have other chronic health issues so I’m trying to gauge if this is just a bad muscle spasm or if I should be concerned. I also think momentarily my feet went numb but not sure
