Marvel fans are the worst fandom ever.

As someone who's been in a ton of fandoms, dear fucking god the marvel fandom is GARBAGE. They are actually the most nitpicky, homophobic, racist people I have ever been around. I have been trying so hard to get into marvel for the past 5 years and everytime I've liked a movie i'll go online and it's just a hate fest over and over. Don't get me wrong, there are other fandoms that suck. I've been in the Voltron fandom, the Dream smp fandom, early SU fandom. Hell, i'd rather go back to being in 2021 minecraft twitter space for the rest of time then be around marvel fans.

This isnt me hating (mostly) but genuinely it's getting to a point where it's making it easier for me to never touch a Marvel project again. I was hella excited for the x-men movie but no matter what platform i'm on it's just dogpiling on it and hating the actors for no good reason. Now I don't even wanna save up money to go see it in theatres. I genuinely think directors are seeing marvel fans complain and editing their scripts to appease them which of course doesnt work because they hate anyways. It's so annoying.

Are vampire romances still wanted?

Hope this is the sub for this. Looking to start writing my first book but I am just curious if people are still interested in vampires. For clarification: think Castlevania instead of Twilight for the type of vampires. Also like only a pinch of smut at best in said book.

I have no clue what to do career wise because I can't tell if the arts industry is collapsing or not.

I (19f) genuinely have been going back and forth on what to do for my future career. I've been pushing an idea in myself that i'd just do science or healthcare on the side but I know at some point i'm going to be unsatisfied no matter how much I enjoy it. The only thing that's stayed consitent is my love of media in all forms. I think I have a few ideas for everything spanning from games to movies to shows to stage plays and musicals. But I also know that chasing after those dreams are really risky, especially now. I think my brain got a massive surge of "maybe I *can* do this" after watching obsession and seeing the budget and credits.

Genuinely, should I just go for it?

Is community college still an option?

As much as I would love to crash out and vent about how crazy this financial aid cut nonesense is, I just need to know if community college is still at least barely affordable compared to regular college now. Is it even close to an option?

I decided to play this game again after years, deep regret now

I've been stuck on fungus for a literal week and have tried like about 30 times to beat it. I've tried a couple strategies on here but the closest one I got was putting spores on the back burner...until I couldn't get points without using spores. Also saudia arabia was a no go, so was brazil, idk if I even wanna try the U.S. and anywhere in africa is just doom.

Deadass, shoukd I just rage quit y'all?

Please provide critique for someone unsure if they should write as a career

Does the sun ever get
Tired of chasing the moon?
Does it get tired of running endlessly
after something so beautiful that
mankind built the telescope
just to see its grace.
What could the sun possibly offer
when the moon effortlessly moves around the Earth like a ballerina?
You can’t even look at the sun.
I mean you could but it would cause you great pain to look at it.
To look at the burning star that mankind can’t even touch.
No one can reach it, and no one will till it explodes and kills us in the process.

Or is the moon secretly chasing the sun?
Does the moon hate its beauty so that it would rather be a star in flames?
Maybe the moon despises all the eyes surrounding it, staring at it until it is destroyed as well.
Just maybe, the moon wants to stop revolving around mankind.
After all that’s the only thing it does,
or rather what mankind has deluded itself into believing that’s what it was made for.
One could, or rather they would, say that’s all it's good for.

Who am I kidding? The sun and moon are just fine, or maybe they are chasing each other until they realize they never will reach the other.
