Cantonese movie/shows

Hi there I’m Ginger I live in Malaysia. It’s been ages since I watch Celestial movies and Astro On Demand and I would like to see some Cantonese gangster/Triad movies cuz this is part of my childhood and most of my parents like to watch crime related movies. Thought back then I only like Stephen Chow movies, CJ7,Big Brother,Madam Cutie on Duty and 猫猫星. It’s been ages since I watch Celestial movies in my TV and I would like to give me recommendations on it (is 叶问 Chinese or Cantonese I forgot…..) no horror/ghost movie cuz I’m scared…..

Also if u can I remember a Cantonese movie that the protagonist and his friend were in Thailand and I forgot what they do I think they are on a truck or a boat let me know cuz I remember it has very interesting story.

Also another one where a child was given up by her parents I remember that emotional scene where the little girl cried as 2 guys took her into the car while her parents just cried and didn’t try to stop the 2 man the environment is very brown I remember liking that movie also…..

I’m studying in Curtin rn and want to joint daekin

Hi my internet name is Ginger. I’m currently studying in Curtin,Miri and I would like to ask if foundation results from curtin is accepted at there since I have cousins who come from Curtin Miri using foundation to enter other universities in Australia. I want to join zoology at Daekin as Curtin at my place doesn’t have any of those courses I want. I’m a science stream student (Heath,Safety and something I forgot). I am a student from Malaysia with I also have my UEC result. My problem is that Daekin only says how much ATAR I need to enter their degree course and I asked the international staff at curtin they told me they don’t know as they don’t manage this kind of thing. What should I do I’m confused and scared.

Why do people especially USA hate communism

Hi there im Ginger and i live in Malaysia. Before that I just want to say i do not support MPAJA. It is because those are actual terrorist groups in my country.

I don’t understand why people always heavily demonise communism. We always say steal the rich and give the poor in order to have an equal society. Like for capitalism the rich get richer and the poor gets poorer thought capitalism sometimes does reward you for hard work that’s more toward meritocracy. Anyways for communism,u don’t earn more or less. Seem not a good idea when it comes to economic growth but can u imagine of not having a roof on your head especially in a volatile word today where u have no guarantee u will have a better life for the next generations. I’m saying this because the only communism im familiar with is Maoism im Chinese Malaysian and that ideology is shit. My relatives at China legit told me that during that time everyone is starving, poor and fighting to survive one of my mom’s uncle at a very young age gets to experience eating the tender parts of grass like a cow on the streets because they dont have enough food. Plus it’s very weird china was a communist when meritocracy has been part of our culture for centuries. China still is communist today but at least it’s under paper and that meritocracy is back again. But for plp living under USSR apparently they miss those times which is a HUGE CONTRAST of what my relatives from China experience under Mao’s ruling.

The only think i could think why people dont like communism is because the associations of bad plp (Like MPAJA) and that since you dont earn more or less ur country can’t develop economy wise and production will just slow down cuz why work hard when you earn the same as the lazy ones. Like one of my other uncles from china too where he was arrested because he didn’t work for the country but still getting salary. Though i wish plp can seperate the core idea of communism and the people who use this method to control the country.

That being said i would like you guys to explain to me why is that? Are there other reasons why communism is frowned upon?

Allergic to some crabs

Hi I’m Ginger I live in East Malaysia. So I went to a restaurant to try to eat crabs my parents are concerned but I wanna take the risk since soo far I never experience anaphylactic shock only severe itchiness and difficulty breathing. I ate the crab which is not native to Malaysia and could be Sri Lanka Crab. I have literally zero reaction and can eat all of the huge crab meat with zero difficulty. Just now I ate at a Korean restaurant I ordered their steam crabs which are the usual crabs u can find in Malaysia sea market I ate only one of it and then boom an allergic reaction but only slog hot itchiness in the throat possibly cause me to sneeze but still can breathe. I ate ice cream to mitigate it as it works on me before. Why is that what’s soo different between Sri Lanka crab and the usual native crabs at my place
