hello, pinag a-apply ako as medtech, 8-5 sya with no weekend shift. 40k ung sahod plus allowances and hazards (20-25% of the salary)
the thing is, i have a current work na hybrid setup doing data management, and my take home pay is 35k-40k (kung malaki OT). hindi siya completely demanding dahil gamay ko na lahat ng proseso pati problema. senior position na ko rito, and possible na ma-promote this year. flextime din pero dahil tenured na ko, i have to initiate early. automation mostly ang work ko kaya i can comfortably play while working, sometimes tapos na before or after lunch, pero depende sa volume, pag OT lagpas pa, which is nagpapalaki talaga ng sahod ko. not very demanding and approve agad ng timesheet; no time in and time out. next in line na rin ako sa promotion this or next year at malaki talaga jump ng sahod, so makakapag ipon talaga.
uncertain pa rin ako sa pag m-medtech kasi gusto ko pa rin talaga mag-med (plus never my 1st choice anyway pero naenjoy ko naman). sa 1st 6mos ko after passing the boards, ipopromote na ko as senior mt na sana sa previous work (merits and performance-based promotion). ung sahod ay hindi nalalayo sa sinasahod ko ngayon, and knowing medtech, generally toxic talaga sya esp sa govt un. nirerecruit ako ng ninang ko bali after nya ko i-assess dadaan pa rin naman ako sa iba kaya wala raw bias sa interview.
im torn kase is 50k+ monthly even worth it? sa govt to nirerecruit ako ng ninang ko. dadaan pa rin ako sa interview without any bias, and confident naman ako na makakapasok with my skills and experience plus creds.

update: what i mean by uncertain is, gusto ko pa rin kasi mag-med. ung promotion kasi samin malaki talaga jump ng salary and i was guaranteed that. next in line ako sa promotion (kakapromote lang ng co-senior ko) so hopefully makakapag ipon ako.
