Randomly checked online while shopping last week, and the gap was too good not to share.

Few deals live right now on Trends:

Women Micro Print A-Line Dress ₹450 (was ₹899)

Women's Wide-Leg Palazzos with Insert Pocket ₹250 (was ₹499)

Embroidered V-Neck Viscose Women Kurta with Salwar and Dupatta  ₹2,474 (was ₹5,499)

No sale event, no festival. Just regular online pricing sitting way below what the store charges.

Worth checking before you buy anything in a mall this week.

Scanned a shirt at Phoenix MarketCity Chennai. The sticker price and the online price were not even close

Was at Phoenix MarketCity last weekend, picked up a shirt.

Scanned the barcode on the price tag before walking to the counter. Same shirt, same brand, online price was nowhere near what the sticker said.

Put it back. Ordered from home.

Been walking into malls and trusting sticker prices my whole life. Not anymore.

Anyone else in Chennai doing this already or is it just me?

Scanned a shirt at Inorbit Mall yesterday. Wish I hadn't — now I can't unsee it

Was killing time at Inorbit Hyderabad yesterday, picked up a shirt I liked.

Randomly scanned the barcode on the price tag using an app before walking to the counter.

The online price for the same shirt was a completely different number. Not a sale. Just the regular price online, same brand, same product.

Put the shirt back. Ordered it from home.

Been going to malls for years and just blindly trusting the sticker price. Never again.

Anyone else in Hyderabad doing this or am I late to the party?

Went to Reliance Trends last week to pick up a shirt I'd seen online. Price tag said ₹1,499. Before billing, I checked if the same item was available cheaper elsewhere.

Found the exact same shirt for ₹351 at another Reliance Trends outlet nearby. Same size. ₹1,148 difference for the same product — just because I checked.

I've started doing this before every fashion purchase now. Reliance Trends, Westside, Lifestyle, Biba — prices genuinely vary across outlets and platforms more than I expected.

The tool I use is TrendScan. It pulls prices across Indian fashion stores so I can compare before walking to the billing counter.

What's your process before buying clothes? Do you check prices across stores or just go with whatever's on the tag?
