Beginner resources to briefly explain all the "categories" of game dev/programming
I'm a person with no art/design or programming skills besides music, and when I think about game dev, there's more to it than I even know right now: there's art like maps/the world/open world etc and character models, where I've heard of programs like Blender to create things related to this. Then there's programming things like game mechanics, where I've heard of a few common programming languages including c# and c++. There's the ui that you end up seeing on the screen and how everything is working together and it's nuts
I'd be really appreciative if anybody knows of any good resources for a beginner to start looking into these topics that lays a good foundation with mentioning how all the categories can kind of work together before going into any specific kind of thing about each one. I just want to have a general overview of how many of these things are working together before starting something specific like learning c#
Also, do game devs/programmers or whatever else it could be called, have enough wrist/hand strength to actually play games too? Like can you keep your hands strong and healthy enough from the carpal tunnel so that you can still enjoy games and life after doing all the programing? Maybe something like neuralink will make that a non issue deep into the future but I'd still be happy to hear about anything from anybody
