Looking at the Double Dash, Wii, and 7 since they all share assets and have similar artstyles. My money goes to Double Dash but playing 7 on a smaller 3DS model is still mind-blowing imo.

In chapter 4 when you first see a twilight person turn into a pig Mario and whatever partner you have out (including Yoshi) will look horrified. I was playing chapter 4 again today and thought about how weird it was that Yoshi understood the severity of the situation despite being only a few days old. (I know it’s just a game but bear with me). Anyone else see the connection? He was almost turned into a hotdog by a pig running a hotdog stand. The fear makes total sense. Either that’s amazing attention to detail or a complete coincidence.
