This is Hahnemuhle paper but its not 300gsm. I tried to begin with wet on dry and then to add more water & color. It just seemed like the paper sucked up the water really fast. Sigh, anyway, I’m kinda happy with the result. Image from my imagination.
This is 100% Polwarth from Four Rivers Yarn & Fiber. I spun up 236g and I got 9 WPI. I have one mammoth skein that is still drying so I don’t know the weight pr meterage of it yet. The left over skein is what you see here. 46g 55m 9 WPI.
This was one of the examples in the book I thought I would try. I’m proud of the shadows. That has been a steep learning curve for me.

Spoke with the orthopedic specialist today and Ewa does in fact have a hairline fracture in her left humerus. She has to wear a cast for 4 weeks. The good news is that its not displaced. The vet techs had fun with her cast.

Miss Ewa decided to jump off the couch to chase her brother on Friday night. On Saturday she was walking a little gingerly but didn’t start limping till Sunday. Took her to the vet on Monday and they took x-tays. They said they can’t tell for sure if she has a hairline fracture near her left front elbow growth plate. We are getting a second opinion tomorrow. Thoughts and prayers appreciated. Little Miss is only just 12 weeks old.
The fiber is dyed by Beth at Spindelicious and is so soft and bouncy! It was a dream spin. It’s a DK weight. I haven’t measured it because I want to just keep it in a skein till I’m ready to use it.
This is Sitka my 14 m/o GSD, Ewa (pronounced Aye-vah) is my 12 w/o Shih Tzu. He was afraid of her for the first few days she was home and now they are so close! I just love how he plays with her. He is so gentle with her. She chews his tail and he gets up and moves when he’s had enough. Of course they are both still babies so they aren’t ever left unsupervised together. I’m just so happy with how their relationship is growing.
She’s 11 weeks old and I’ve had her for a few days. She is doing AMAZING with potty training etc etc. She’s fine in her crate during the day when we are eating or doing other stuff. But at night she loses her mind. She won’t settle at all! I hate hearing her cry. And she gets really upset. She’s gone potty and has eaten her food. She has a stuffy in there with her that has a heart beat. She’s got water. And her crate is right next to my bed so she can see me. Also, my other dog is in his crate sound asleep - or at least trying to. Any thoughts would help. TIA! 🙏🏽
