New buyer account suspended right after placing a first bid (using mail forwarding address)

Hi everyone,

I just created my eBay account to buy a doll for my personal collection. I am based in Ukraine and was using a US mail-forwarding address (NP Shopping) since the item was located in the US.

Immediately after placing my bid ($117), my account got permanently suspended for "putting the community at risk". I haven't even won the auction or made any payment yet.

I already sent an email to eBay support offering to provide my ID, passport, and bank statements to confirm my identity.

Has anyone faced this recently? Is there any chance eBay will reinstate the account after document verification, or is this a total dead end? Any tips on how to reach a real human agent faster would be greatly appreciated!

DS-2CD1121-I locked out — password reset via SADP/iVMS "succeeds" but new password doesn't work

Camera: Hikvision DS-2CD1121-I

Firmware: V5.5.84 build 191010

Situation:

Bought this camera used/second-hand, no admin password was provided by the previous owner. Status shows "Active" in SADP, so it was activated before.

What I've tried:

Physical reset button on the pigtail — holding it 10-15+ sec produces a relay click but does NOT reset IP, password, or activation state. Tried both on a running camera and while power was being applied.

SADP "Forgot Password" → Export Key → got error: Operation failed. (Device denied. (Error code: SADP.dll[2009].))

iVMS-4200 → Device Management → Reset Password (key icon) → Export Key worked this time, but no dealer/reseller available to generate unlock code quickly.

Tried again later — this time got "The password is reset" confirmation message after going through the reset flow (Export → presumably some cached/previously issued key got imported, not fully clear).

Problem: after "password is reset" confirms successfully, logging in via browser (admin + the exact password I just set, copy-pasted to rule out typos) returns "wrong password." Confirmed via HCNetSDK error [153] user is locked earlier (unrelated timeout now expired).

Tried physically power-cycling the camera hoping the new password needs a reboot to take effect — testing now.

Official Hikvision firmware for this exact model (DS-2CD1121-I) is no longer listed on hikvision.com/en/support/download/firmware — appears discontinued/delisted, so TFTP recovery flash isn't an option without finding an old firmware file elsewhere.

Question:

Has anyone seen the "password reset succeeds but new password is rejected" behavior on this firmware version? Is there a known bug where the new password only applies after a specific action (reboot, second reset cycle, etc.)? Or does this indicate the "reset" is silently failing despite the success message?

Any pointers to a mirror/archive of firmware for DS-2CD1121-I (or a known-compatible sibling model firmware) would also help since it's no longer on the official site.

Catalyst 9300 with no service password-recovery — Mode button gives zero response, no way in

Received a Cisco Catalyst 9300 (C9300-24T-A) as part of volunteer/humanitarian IT aid no access, unknown credentials, no documentation on prior config.

Tried standard password recovery via the Mode button (power cycle + hold until LED changes) never once got a "button is pressed" message on console, switch just boots normally every time. Tried different hold durations, break signal via terminal, pinhole reset on the back zero response across the board.

Looks like no service password-recovery is enabled, but it's odd that not even the erase-warning prompt shows up expected at least something.

Checked the serial on cway.cisco.com/sncheck no active contract (0/1 covered).

Has anyone seen this exact behavior (literally zero reaction to Mode/Break)? Is this normal for no service password-recovery, or does it point to something else? And is there any legitimate path to recover access without a TAC contract (authorized partner, RMA, etc.)? Not looking for a bypass — just trying to figure out if this switch can be brought back to life through official channels, given the unknown history and no coverage.
