GSX-R 1000 K7 – what brake pads would you recommend?

Hey guys,
I’m looking to replace the front brake pads on my GSX-R 1000 K7 because they’re getting close to the end of their life.
The bike has 26,000 km on it and still has the OEM brake discs, which show zero noticeable signs of wear.
The main thing I’m trying to figure out is: does anyone know what compound the OEM Suzuki pads are? Are they sintered or organic?
I’d like to go with an aftermarket pad, but I really don’t want to end up replacing perfectly good OEM discs because the pads are too aggressive.
A long time ago I had EBC HH pads on another bike and it was honestly a disaster for the discs. The pads barely seemed to wear, while the discs were disappearing before my eyes 😂. So I definitely don’t want a repeat of that.
At the moment I’m looking at:
SBS 806HS
Galfer G1370
TRW MCB752SV
All three seem to be sintered, from what I can tell.
I ride fairly aggressively and at a decent pace, but I’m not doing track days and I’m not constantly doing huge emergency braking from high speeds.
So what would you guys recommend for the K7?
More specifically:
What compound are the OEM Suzuki pads?
Are the OEM discs designed to work well with sintered aftermarket pads?
Which of the three above would you choose if disc longevity is important?
Is there another pad you would recommend that gives good braking performance without eating the OEM discs?
Thanks!

Hi,

I have a 2019 Jeep Cherokee KL with Active Drive I (AD1).

My rear differential module (RDM) has clutch packs that engage the rear drive, and I’m experiencing a strong binding effect — the whole car feels like it’s under tension, especially during turns.

I want to change the rear differential fluid, but I’m getting conflicting information from different workshops:

- one says to use regular Mopar 75W-90 gear oil
- another says to use Mopar limited slip differential oil
- another recommends standard gear oil + LSD friction modifier

I know the OEM fluid part number is 68227765AB (70W-80), but I’m not sure:

👉 Does this system require additional friction modifier?
👉 Is this fluid already LSD-compatible?
👉 Or should I use a different oil altogether?

What is the correct fluid specification for the RDM with clutch packs in this system?

Thanks in advance.
