while getting into commander clones have always interested me, i think ive tried building like 2-3 clone decks in the last month (obeka, aang and another one i forgot) and for some reason they just dont work. obeka just couldnt win off the value it was making and i just couldnt win with aang. now the new [[muddle, the ever-changing]] caught my eye and i really want to build it but i dont want to mess it up again (i also might build [[gyruda]] if muddle turns out to be fun) so my question is how does one build clone decks that are FUN and can actually close out games?
so i find myself gravitating more and more towards commanders that reward the gameplan/amplify it (teysa karlov/magda/tannuk/baylen), and im looking for a more of these sort of commanders, because i just cant play a deck where the commander is a big ass red "Dont Kill" button.
EDIT: jesus christ i was studying for my latin final and came back to 90 comments, thank you all for the feedback ill make sure to check it all out!
love the fact that there is a tag specifically for this, also im sure yall see this type of post everyday but i just want to get my facts straight before doing anything
so my friend gifted me a terra card and i love her, its just that i cant bring myself to build an enchantment deck so my friend suggested i get into cEDH and honestly, building a max power deck is only for the queen, so my question is how do i learn the format? im assuming just mastering all the little lines and stuff before learning a bit more about the meta and then just starting to play but im unsure (kind of like yugioh)
ive been given the card, a list, and a dream, all feedback is greatly appreciated!
