Change my bedroom layout?

I currently have a cabinet in the middle of my room, with my tv on top. My bad is against the back wall facing the television. (Slide 1)

I recently wanted to buy backlight for my TV, but 1: it wouldn’t look good from the angle where I took the picture (my desk is in this corner). And 2: you probably won’t really see it well since it doesn’t get reflected of a wall.

So I came up with another idea (slide 2), rotating my bed 90 degrees and having my tv on the other wall. What do you guys think? which do you prefer? The backlights aren’t a must but would be nice. And should I swap the decorations on the wall also?

Gold farm not producing what it should

I recently build one of Gnembom's Gold Farms, following a tutorial by Shulkercraft. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLBPBT8e4tI

The design promises 600 Gold blocks an hour, but after afking for some hours I only managed to get around 150 blocks an hour.

I play on a server with friends, so maybe that affects it? But during my afk session I was the only player online the entire time.

I have a Smite V Looting III Sword. Build the farm just as in the video. I did the spawnproofing underneath the bedrock thouroughly, using freecam mod to find all the spaces and MiniHud for the despawn sphere. Difficulty on the server is set to Hard, so I'm kind of lost as to why the farm is only working at about a quarter of it's power. The design is a bit old so maybe something changed to spawning behavior or loot dropping behaviour.

Anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks!

ASA: Astreos or Extinction?

I’m looking to play ark ascended. I’ve played about 1500 hours on evolved and Extinction was always my favourite map. Now I’m looking to play Ark on Ascended. And I can’t choose between which map to play first.

Extinction was always a favourite of mine, but I have heard alot of great things about Astreos, and the map looks amazing. I don’t know alot about the map, difficulty, tame variety, boss fights etc.

Which map do you guys prefer and why?

Need a gold farm for 1.26

I want to build a gold farm on a server with friends. But I’ve found out alot of gold farms are outdated, including the design I always used.

The update that gave pigman spears made alot of designs not work good anymore.

I don’t really need the xp, but mostly just the gold. I’m looking for a farm that farms a good amount of gold blocks per hour, not those smaller farms that give 400 bars per hour. I need a few stacks of gold blocks an hour.

Also alot of farms that have weird techniques like wolves, llamas or even ghasts shooting fireballs.

Is there any design out there that you guys know that meet these criteria, I feel like i’ve searched all of youtube so I really need your guys’s help.

What to do with this drained monument?

A Friend of mine and me drained this monument on our server, but we're left clueless as to what we want to do with it next. We don't really want to make the usual grass floor with some trees. And we don't want to change the monument itself.

Anyone got some good ideas?

What to do with this Ocean Monument?

So a friend of mine and me drained this ocean monument on our server, problem is, we both don't really know what to build around it.

We don't really want to make your typical grass field with a few trees, and we don't want to change the monument itself. Not turning it into a farm either.

Does anyone have any suggestions for us?
