What should I put in the empty space? Plus thoughts?
Of course it should be something with a heavy Japanese aesthetic that would go nicely with the consistent block pallet. Thanks!

This is in survival and dont mind the roof; I'm waiting for it to be oxidized.
I'm playing modded and I still need to do detailing but I'm not the best builder and I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone. I was wondering how someone would go about the entrance to this building and just advice in general. I'm not sure how much i love how oaky it is
What can I do to improve this roof? Also does it look okay?🥺
i dont know how to build i just winged it any tips?
This is one days work of designing a cathedral gothic style castle for a Minecraft realm with my friends any tips on how to add more detail I added the reference picture I had Gemini generate for me this is my first time ever building something this big and even with world edit it’s taking forever I can’t wait to see how it turns out critique me as much as you can I want it to look as good as possible
Im just trying to figure out what kind of decoration to keep on the top as it looks a bit empty any suggestions? i can give you the lore of my city to help in suggestions :]
the build is from a tutorial by antiquated builds : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Svh2odRrGAg&t=877s
Hey everyone! I’ve been scrolling through Pinterest lately looking for some building inspiration and I stumbled across a gorgeous coastal lighthouse design. I just knew I had to try and recreate that "aesthetic" vibe in my latest Minecraft world.
It took a bit of resource gathering—lots of copper for that perfect weathered roof—but I’m really happy with how it turned out. I wanted it to feel lived-in, so I added some trees on the the sides and a tiny custom dock for my boat.
The interior is fully functional too! I didn't make it yet but you can! I would like to see what did you make 😉
What do you guys think? Should I add a small keeper’s cottage next to it, or keep the island minimal?
Let me know your thoughts or if you have any tips for coastal terraforming!

Finally its been 50days I am alive and finished my winter cabin in hardcore survival.
I’m pretty happy with the overall vibe, but I feel like the surrounding area still looks a little empty (please ignore my little bamboo farm).
What would you add to make it feel more alive or realistic?
What do you think about this Fortress? The build is a bit older so dont mind the shader :)

Distinct Features of my build:
The full scale of the surfaced sulfur cave is heavily inspired by one of the famous landmarks of Yellowstone, the Grand Prismatic Spring. However, you might notice that there's a large amount of redness generated, thus making the main sulfur spring smaller. It might look more like a small open wound.
As I have said, this landmark, dubbed the "Short Prismatic Spring", has three key features: the Short Prismatic Lake, the fumeroles, and a large underwater cave underneath the spring. However, due to the high amount of sulfur dioxide in the air and the immense heat emitted, the underwater cave is restricted for venturing. Unless you are a zombie pigman.
Scattered a few blocks away from the Short Prismatic Spring and a coastal village, a small geyser mound can be seen erupting indefinitely. This feature was inspired by the original old designs of Minecraft's sulfur springs and both the Fishing Cone and White Dome Springs.
Ah, what a dull but fascinating sight of surfaced Dripstone spikes. This feature was supposed to be inspired by the Tufa Columns found in Mono Lake, however most of the spikes seem weathered down to sharp tips. I would not sit on them if I were you. A dormant geyser mound can be seen on the right behind the dripstone formation.
Finally, we have a very recent formation generated closer to the Short Prismatic Spring. These smaller sulfur pools are heavily inspired by the Opal Pool, however, with a few geysers erupting from time to time.
Blocks used for this build:
I build this to cover my sugarcane farm but I feel like it still needs some detailing.

hii 😄 if you’re looking for a hermitcraft-style SMP where there’s always people around and stuff going on, this is what we’re going for
LoungeSMP is a semi-vanilla survival server with a smaller active community and a long-term world. people build near each other, work on projects together, hang out, and actually play as a group instead of just logging on and doing their own thing
the server’s simple at its core, just normal survival, but there’s always something happening:
- community builds and towns
- weekly events (spleef, parkour, one in the chamber, etc)
- player shops and trading
- proximity voice chat for talking in-game
- people online consistently, not just peak times
we’re a very inclusive and supportive community, open to everyone, with active moderation to keep things safe and cozy
we keep things close to vanilla, no custom items or crazy systems, just a few quality of life features:
- Keep Inventory
- Toggle PvP (off by default)
- Jobs, warps, /shop
- Land protection (No Griefers)
the goal is just to have a server where you can log on anytime and there’s people around to build with, talk to, or just play with
If you made it all the way down here why not give us a try!😉

Building a fun place to test are PvP skills with are friends. Built myself inspired by an idea from my buddy Temperedblocks
What do you think could be changed? I was thinking about doing something with the roof, maybe changing it to deep slate or something darker.
i need ideas to make the path/terrain looks good. im trying to be a better builder now and idk what to do
