looking for an alternative to this crow hill company plug in

I have absolutely fallen in love with the crow hill company's harmonic piano plug in (give it a listen, it's gorgeous), but it will not download on my computer. I have done some research and there are a few others who have had similar problems, but couldn't find any solution even after conversing with tech support for weeks. I was wondering if anyone had found either a solution or a good alternative vst because I haven't seen anyone talking about this plug in.

Prep for Japanese placement test!

I'm taking the Japanese placement in august, and I'm looking for anyone else who may have taken it so I know what to focus on reviewing! For instance, I know the JLPT practice tests tend to focus more on grammatical structure than actual conversation, etc.. What kind of questions do they ask on the oral interview (I'm assuming the interview is in japanese but I suppose that's not necessarily the case)? Is the test open response or multiple choice? Any information appreciated!

moving in soon! some questions about room supplies

I will be in New Residence Hall (I don't know if that changes anything)! I noticed the university really pushing dormco.com which looks dubious to me from a financial standpoint.. So I wanted to ask what dorm supplies are actually well utilized/worth it and where should I source them? Things like bookshelves I've gotten from goodwill for like. $13 so I'm very against getting a grand new one for $100+... I'm also guessing that as a college town Eugene generally has a good scene for secondhand furniture lol.

I have my own blanket already I'm bringing from home, along with pillows, pillow cases, etc. I will probably have to get new sheets but other than that I have the bare minimum, which brings me to the first main question- mattress toppers! I've seen some people looking at them for cleanliness purposes (suspicious stains from past residents) which I can understand. I was wondering if they're a necessary thing for dorms or if I can get away with laying out a few towels underneath my sheets.

Secondly, I really want to loft my bed, like bunk bed height. I have no idea how to go about that since the dormco bed risers look way too short for that, so I'm wondering how others did it and what the costs for that are.

Anyways if there's anything else I'm overlooking lmk that too!

How to keep wax from overheating?

I’ve been playing around with wax for awhile now, and I’ve always had some amount of bubbling in the final seal.

i use cheap thrifted candles and a spoon, part of me worries my wax might be low quality, all I know for sure is that the wax is definitely overheating, but I’m not sure how to best combat that. If I hold the spoon too close to the flame, I end up with a flawed seal even if the bubbles don’t show in the spoon, but holding it too far away makes the wax heat unevenly and takes forever to melt. I’ve tried mixing it, not mixing it, letting wax cool in the spoon before pouring, and again on my flat surface before stamping…

furthermore, if I overheat wax, is it ruined? I make too many mistakes to use new wax every time, i have overheating problems with new wax anyways but I wouldn’t be surprised if thats part of my problem?

im just trying to avoid having to buy a low heat glue gun at this point…

First time goer- what should I know?

I know there are some booths giving out freebies, do they run out quickly? Do artist alley booths tend to sell out? What is the morning rush and what time should I get to the convention center? I hear some panels stop letting people in at full capacity, should I expect to wait in a line for panels I want to see, and if so how early should I be looking at entering those lines? Do outside events like those in little Tokyo tend to be more crowded during anime expo itself or in the days after? which entrance tends to have the least amount of line, or does it matter? How do I tell what hall ect a booth is in from the code? do certain halls have certain letters/number ranges associated with them when it comes to booth codes? Do artist alley booths take tap or should I keep some cash on me?

I'm full of questions, and have only been to small local cons in the past!

I want to get this print off of hoodie

fabric is 19% polyester 81% cotton, I’ve heard about methods using irons and acetone but wanted to hear second opinions from the community so I don’t end up damaging the actual fabric. I have black dye and fabric paint so I bit of discoloration is fine
