I have the below UK plugs, and their labels state the below specs
- Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter (model: A2344):
- "Input: 100-127V~ 50-60Hz 0.5A (USB-PD), Output:5.0V==3.0A or 9.0V==2.0A"
- "Input: 200-240V~ 50-60Hz 0.5A (USB-PD), Output:5.0V==3.0A or 9.0V==2.22A"
- Apple 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max
- This one is on the way so I can't check its specs
- Anker PowerPort 4 Lite (model: A2042):
- "Input: 100-240V-0.9A 50-60Hz, Output: 5V == 5.4A (2.4A max per port)"
- Anker Select Charger 20W USB-C (model: A2347)
- "Input: 100-240V~, 0.6A 50-60Hz, Output: 5.0V==3.0A, 15.0W / 9.0V==2.22A, 20.0W / 12.0V==1.67A (20.0W Max)"
I understand I will need to buy a UK -> Type A adapter (hopefully any old one will do?), but I've read that I must also consider the voltage difference between UK (230V) and Japan (100V).
As far as I can tell all of the above plugs are OK to use in Japan and won't damage my devices, but I would really appreciate someone who is perhaps more knowledgable about this to confirm for me please.
Thank you in advance 😊
