Vin Lego Minifig

My attempt at recreating Vin from the first book in Lego. The cape is from the Lady of Pain minifg sprayed black.

Amazing companion for Medieval Blacksmith and Alchemist Shop

Stumbled upon this alt build of the Hocus Pocus set by Bolt Builds and cannot believe how good this set is.

Not only it improved on the original, it fits the Medieval Blacksmith theme and scale perfectly. While original opted for openable back (which had its issues), Lucas made it fully modular.

I recommend to check out the reviews on Youtube, this alt is pure gold!

Sea Serpent Alt Build

  • Wanted to modify the ship to a bit better reflect the iconic cascading shape of the original.
  • The instruction follows step 1 and then diverges on the deck arrangement.
  • Uses all bricks + 3 optional spares (1x1 round brown tile + 1x1 1/4 round brown tile + black lightsaber grip)
  • Slanted hull
  • Raised stern flag
  • Shields can be attached to the back on the ship

Stickers need to go.

After all this years Lego still continues to release expensive sets that are full of stickers. Like this one $250 Mandalorian Starfighter. This is unacceptable, especially with competition such as Lumibricks or Reobrix releasing stickerless sets.

Can't open older pxd files (starting 2-3 months old)

When trying to open such pxd files I'm getting following error:

>The document couldn’t be opened.
The document is damaged, or isn’t compatible with Pixelmator Pro 3.8.

Everything seems fine, apart from the pxd files which became unreadable for Pixelmator Pro. I don't think they're really damaged, because all other RAWs etc are working.

Did anyone had such problem? Halp, this is a huge issue.

Diablo 4 is an art masterpiece

I'm now doing all of the side quests once again and it's a pleasure to immerse myself in this world. Every location seems to tell its own story. The tiny details, such as a NPC girl lamenting whether she should eat her beloved dog because of famine.

After being let down by D3 art direction I was really looking forward to D4 once the Lilith trailer showed up. It was dark, ominous, demonic. That's how Diablo should be.

And D4 delivered. The locations, music, characters, ambience. I love how they really nailed the world of Sanctuary with a great deal of environmental narrative on top of it.

And don't get me started on the soundtrack. Leo Kaliski and Ted Reedy have built on top of Matt Uelmen's work yet another distinct gem.

Here we go again. A new series, that has several more desirable options. There are multiple complaints around.

Some complain that others are using scanners, while without a scanner you're most likely to get the Boba girl or Soccer player.

Scalpers are hoarding the best minifigs and sell them on eBay and Bricklink with higher prices.

This is not sustainable. The mystery box model doesn't work anymore with the current user base.

At least give a possibility to choose a particular minifig online, so that all parties are happy.
