Omeprazole

Pros/cons? Did it help you at all? Hurt you? I’m starting this tomorrow and am a little worried. My worst symptoms are nausea, feeling food come up my throat after eating and pain/burning around my rib area

What medication changed your life?

What were your symptoms and what medication changed you the most or maybe even got you feeling normal? Or maybe a medication that changed it in a bad way? I’m so curious!

Weak legs

Hey all, I am in the middle of recovery. I’m doing really good eating normal meals and everything. I was restricting HEAVILY for 2 months. My legs are like jelly and it’s difficult for me to walk long without having to sit down. Is this normal? How long did it take this to resolve if you’ve been through the same? It’s summer and I just want to be able to walk even just into a store honestly

Reglan

Did reglan help with hunger? I’m not officially diagnosed yet as I’m waiting for a GES but I’ve ate maybe 200 cals a day for the past 2 months. Can’t get out of bed without help because I am so dizzy and obviously malnourished. I got prescribed reglan, does it help with hunger because right now I have absolutely no appetite and can’t force myself to eat without gagging. Thanks!

Nausea only symptom, anyone else?

So basically the past 2 months I’ve been so nauseous. It went from a couple times a week, to once a day to now daily 24/7. I’ve been to the emergency room twice and got diagnosed with inflammation and sludge. I don’t have any pain, just nausea, indigestion/stomach always making noises, loose yellow stools/constipation back and forth, and globus sensation/gaggy sensation in my throat. The past 7 days I haven’t ate ANYTHING, only chicken broth. The nausea is horrible.

Did anyone have ONLY nausea as their main symptom? I’m worried it’s not because of my gallbladder. I’m also worried I’m gonna get the surgery and nothing is going to change.

Anxiety gagging

So basically I have been going through a lot. My gallbladder needs to be removed and it’s causing me so much anxiety and nausea. But the worst part of it is the anxiety gives me an overwhelming feeling of needing to gag. I don’t know why or how to fix it. This has been 24/7 for the past week or more and I’m getting so tired of it. It’s caused me not to be able to leave my house or barely my bed. Did anyone go through this same thing and would it happen randomly or all the time? I find the more I fixate it the more I feel it. But I also have an intense fear of vomiting (emetophobia) and it makes me so scared. Any advice is appreciated.

Nausea before surgery

Does anyone have barely any pain but horrible nausea? I’m literally nauseated 24/7 and it’s really starting to affect my mental health because I have emetophobia. I have a constant feeling of needing to gag in my throat and just overall nauseous. Zofran doesn’t even seem to touch. I haven’t eaten solid food in like a week and it’s really taking a toll on me. Did this happen to anyone else, any thing that helped you?
