Sheboygan, are we OK?
I don’t like the look of this… but I’m no storm person. But weather wise app is going off. All watches right now, no warnings… yet. The sky is half green / grey and the other side is blue. No wind.
Edit: it’s real now :(

22F - I’m SHOOKETH today. I just left my dr appt with 2nd opinion rheumatologist and I DID leave with Hypermobilty Syndrome Diagnosis & an immediate referral to geneticist for hEDS testing to confirm. Woah. Kinda forgot that you are allowed to ask for a second opinion, it’s your right. My current rheumatologist who straight up denied to refer me to genetic testing & told me “no, you don’t meet the criteria” without even doing the B-scale test. I scored over 6 points before this new rheumatologist got past my hips.
I’ve had hEDS symptoms my whole life (two of my cousins also have it) and I’m beyond proud of myself for standing up for me, cause If I didn’t ask for a second opinion, I wouldn’t be where I’m at today.
I’m like still in shock writing this. I’m relieved right now because I have answers and resources to better help me understand my body, which will help me manage symptoms in the long run.
I live in the US with my BF who owns the car, and we want to buy new rims and like change a million other things. This group has been so sweet to me in the past and I’m
Wondering if anyone has recs on purchasing rims online. I can totally provide more details but just looking to see if anyone has a fav retailer or supplier?
Thank youuuu!
Anyone else “crashing” after their dose wears off? As soon as the medication is out of my system, I’m feeling right back to sluggish & lethargic. Extreme brain fog & just general malaise. Just curios if anyone else has the same experience?
Hello! I recently picked up this beautiful sewing machine, and I’d like to hear what people have to say about it, good or bad!
I talked to the seller - it was her late grandmothers and has been passed down & functional ever since. I have been too afraid myself to plug it in and test it out, as I hear the electrical can be, well, not up to standards these days. I also don’t carry much experience working with sewing machines in general, even modern ones. I have been daydreaming about sewing for years though, since I was maybe 8 years old? I’m 21 now, and this caught my eyes. I will be happy with this machine, even if it’s not fully functional as stated, or needs repairs, etc. I technically only paid $10 for this, the other $10 was spent on a Pronto B Land Polaroid Camera with a Flash Bar (both in great shape & functional - tested it myself!) and overall I’m more happy because I have the honor of owning & learning about a piece of history, someone’s once prized possession.
This question may be a long shot, since I don’t have the machine with me at the moment, but would anyone be able to age this, the manufacturing year / model? (I have it safe & covered from dust in my parents farmhouse, which it fits perfectly into, as it was built in 1921).
I appreciate anyone who comments or has information to share, thank you!
Edit: it’s a Westinghouse New Home…. It felt like a 25lb weight when I carried it home - I think it may be cast iron? Can’t wait to go back and check the serial number!!!
Hey guys, new here. I just thrifted this Pronto B Land Polaroid camera at a yard sale (along with a working singer sewing machine). This camera is functional and also has a flash bar.
I’m wondering if anyone knows if I can only use SX-70 film with this camera? Or if I can use different brands. Would someone be willing to enlighten me?
A big thank you in advance to anyone with information and tips. I have been looking up online. What film is compatible with this camera and I’m simply confused.
